ikhwan was good before m2card reinstated the benefits. furthermore, 5% on friday for petrol/grocery which is not available to m2c. combine with m2c, u get 3 days (fri-sat-sun) with 5% cashback for petrol/grocery.

petronas ikhwan is only good for petronas petrol. if you dont pump petronas, this card is useless. not everyone prefer petronas.

depend on your spending limit and categories.

if each month you max your amex cb, but not enough to cover groceries/petrol, then additional cb pool from ikhwan mastercard would be great.

only do this if you dont have other cards to complement.

generall, RP is ok la. like an agent to the banks only. it's just like those agents in the malls, etc etc. they will pass to bank for approval anyway. check out RP's service T&C and Privacy notice. if still have doubt, dont go thru them lo.

rejection can be many reasons or not meeting certain criteria. each bank/card possibly has different assessment criteria.

if online application failed, walk-in to card centre to apply, or via email (lenghty forms to print-sign-scan-send)

m2u application is based on limited criteria (i suppose like 1st level checking, then GO/NO GO), may not work with everyone.

stated requirements is just min level. there are other criteria to look at, e.g. ratings, dsr, etc. each bank has their own way of assessment.

you sure calculated your spending correctly? your RM500++ vs actual >RM2.5k is quite a huge difference to hit RM50 cb.


i've spent >RM10k last month due to emergency by swiping at Nirvana Memorial, only getting max RM50 cb

so u have other mbb cards? and expecting rm50 cb? eg amex or ikhwan of normal VS?

could be mbb credit the CB to the highest card you have, but still this shouldn't happen .

then ok lo, have fun with the extra cb.

dont think mbb has auto-apportionment in payment though.

where do you pay/transfer from?

if non-mbb account, currently have promo free IBFT for loan/cc transfer. can utilize that.
