i use OCBC cashflo card to pay indah water, via ocbc online banking. can get 0.5% cashback

can also pay indah water via maybank2u by creditcard (maybank master/visa, but not barcelona visa as of now), but offers no treatpoint.
if barcelona card is accepted for jompay via maybank2u, maybe can get 2%

u wrote u got cb from FCB VS for paying IWK.

per transaction rounding.
I changed not to rounding in my Excel just now and still the cash back is different by 1 or 2 cents .... confused.gif

assuming your calculation is correct, then probably mbb's side.

once a while, there is issue with 1-2 sen, over/underpaid.

got one time i was underpaid 1 sen, disputed with mbb, then got the adjustment back. few months later, they overpaid 1 sen cb.

it seems their "calculation" haywire a bit, and it's random. even mbb cannot explain why it only affected 1 transaction among ALL my monthly transactions.

p/s: why are you asking in VS thread? you should either post in Ikhwan or M2C thread.

Good luck in your application. It is strange they asked so many documents from you.
*
not strange la. this more to extraordinary/exception handling for review.

they need more documents to justify the approval, of which by normal policies he already failed numerously.

let them handle lo. we won't know what is really happening and their policies.

Don't understand what that mean
If spend 5k only get max RM 50 CB = 1%, why ?

BTW, received my FCB card today, should be fully used up all the CB next week on SG trip just by paying hotel  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
no la

total possible outstanding would be 2 months x rm2.5k (assuming just spend max for cb) each month. you won't be owing bank more than 2 months without incurring interest to 1st month's statement balance.

if u know going to spend more than 2.5k per month, your CL should be higher than 2x, at least.

Applied for the FCB card this afternoon thru M2U and got an email a few mins later stating application unsuccessful. Got an sms later as well.

Is this common for application on M2U?
Any advise on what the best way to apply

Thanks
*
if u read thru previous posts, yes, very common for m2u to reject.

either walk in to nearest maybankard centre, call CS to add card (existing mbb card users) or fill in form.

search in this thread.

Just curious, how the 2% is logged? Is it combining with the M2Card? I don't see any cashback from my statement for this card?
*
QUOTE(jasontoh @ Nov 8 2017, 08:13 AM)
So it will give cashback based on the usage for the month, rather than statement right? Cause I checked, mine don't have cash rebate, but the spending is in November  bangwall.gif
*
mbb doesnt award you cb immediately/real-time for each transaction. it will be accumulated monthly and credited on 1st of following month (viewable in M2U on 2nd). same goes to m2card, ikhwan cards, etc.

Oct spending, cb credited on 1 Nov
Nov spending, cb credited on 1 Dec
and so on...

refer here below...

i'm just curious, which card do you know that give cashback after each transaction? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Sort of like accumulate the transaction until end of the month. But I was so excited because this is the first month to get the CB from the card until I forgot to check my own transaction date
*
it has always been like that for maybank cards and all other bank cards la.

what you think you want (per transaction cb) and what mbb willing to invest/not invest, are 2 matters.

in short, per calendar month. that's all.

I believe FCBVS is an ideal cash back card for insurance auto debit now, any other card can beat this?
*
if pay manual via online portals, other cb cards can give better.

for autodebit, perhaps hlb wise (mix with rm1k spending on 3 cb categories), or SCB JOP (also mix with other spending)

for a direct cb card, fcbvs is ideal.
