APPLE PAY IN MALAYSIA, Official arrives in Malaysia! Aug 2022!

Thought I might have seen it before but I might have gaslighted myself into thinking it wasn't there before, but with how things are with NFC payment in Malaysia currently, I won't be surprised if Google Pay/Wallet (Or whatever it's officially called) comes to MY market before the year ends. But if it still isn't here, hey we still have SP/AP (Hopefully relatively soon). All if not almost all payment terminals are powered by GHL, Sunmi/whatever other banks supports it, you don't actually have to touch your phone on the terminal, so there's no really any chance of "bacteria/dirt transferring", same with cards, just more secure, as it requires authorization from you as opposed to those fraudulent NFC swipe(if you have a NFC blocking wallet then it's a different story), and it works even better with a smart watch as they can store card data as well, and doesn't require you to use your phone to make payments. |
