Did you successfully add the virtual card to Apple Pay then? Keep getting mixed messages about this. Like that Xavier Naxa guy on Twitter, who insists that the physical card is a must

But on Samsung Pay side, yes, the virtual MAE card was added successfully. Yet to test out in shops.

Surprised that no one here has tried out the virtual-card-only method on their iPhone.

True. You must have physical card before you can add into Apple Pay. If you try to add a virtual card you won’t be able to receive the sms verification although the option is available there. I’m very sure that’s true as I experienced that myself.

Yes. I just used yesterday at NSK parking near my home. Had to tap twice during exit. Amount to pay will show up at first tap, second tap to pay.

i believe some card readers will require to tap twice even you're using physical card.

for example parking B at desa park...you will need to tap twice when using CC/DC, 1st tap show amount,2nd tap to pay.

Yes, you can add MAE Virtual Card into Apple Pay without Physical Card. After you apply and get the virtual card details, you have to call Maybank to request them activate the Online E-Commerce Purchase so that you only can add into ApplePay by using SMS Verification. Sorry if I did not mentioned earlier that you need activate Online E-Commerce Purchase only can be added.

Nothing special, just work and travel. The travel adds up especially when I go overseas and stay. Company policy is to pay for both flights and lodging and claim back. So I get to collect a lot of points. Then also when I organise company events, then I swipe my card and then claim back from company.

Company saves money on not paying company price + u get points in return. So nice lucky you
