I use bank transfer.

Finally got it done, I top up via Debit Card but the exchange rate is bad, RM104 for 20 Euro.

How many times you tried to video call their expert? It seems like keep loading and prompt Retry button for me.

Just only one ya.

Congrats! I'm still in the process, how do you deposit money into the account?
*
I topup to boon.PLANET by BigPay card first and it's credited to boon.PLANET immediately without any charges from boon and BigPay and transfer to another account in DE later.

Hi, did you activate your account after you received the card? overall process, how long did it take you from registered to get the account online?
*
Just tap on activate card on main screen or card settings on actions tap (@ N26 apps) they fill up card detailed
Account online after verification completed ~ 30 Mins

Next time try with BigPay, OCBC or HSBC Everyday Global account
But for HSBC EGA pls don't forget to convert to EUR account before topup, if performed CNP transactions without convert on EGA you will charged 1.25%

Alright I’ll try BigPay next, N26 charges 1.5 EUR on next debit. Quite a lot for just a simple top up :s

is it worth such hassle by going through so many hoops just to use Apple Pay in MY ?

i have Apple Card on my phone but even that i don't use it that often, it was a surreal experience when i first use it in US after moving here 3 years ago but after a while the novelty just wear off i was like mehhh just another way to pay stuff.

when I had Samsung Pay, I used it all the time. Basically in any places that support payWave. Nothing amazing but it makes the process easier.

I do miss the simplicity of the process. I never bothered to try Apple Pay since I switched to ios.

So the N26 card on Apple Pay only active for for 30 days while waiting the physical card to arrived?
If we are not activating the physical card, then the Apple Pay function will be deactivated?

Don't know if this contributes to discussion etc.

I study in the UK and therefore have a UK Barclays bank acc which is connected to my iPhone's Apple Pay. Works here as any contactless card. Always hilarious to see the reactions of most cashiers as I tap my phone on the card reader. Especially McD haha
*
oh I see. I am using my apple watch to pay but no one really seems surprised here in KL.

I used my Apple pay around jb area, most merchants dont look surprised, maybe because singaporeans use it here too.
- The cashier at IKEA asked me calmly, visa or master.
- This store using GHL pos, told me, sorry we don't acceept phone payment, I assume she meant Samsung Pay, maybank pay, cimb pay or etc, only physical cards

I saved my SG bank credit card & Revolut card in my iPhone. Tap my iPhone before to purchase RM1 Vanilla Coke at a vending machine here. It charges S$0.33 to my statement. Done it before at petrol station also

Conclusion:
Apple Pay is just a mode of payment. It can be use anywhere that accept tap and wave payment terminal even in Malaysia. Only Malaysia bank cards don't allow Apple Pay mode yet. Perhaps high fee is involved?

For me its amazing and i love the process of simplicity because i go anywhere i just take out my phone and sometimes i even use my watch to pay without taking out my wallet or bag with my card or cash. No change, No mess, No checking and i dont forget my phone.

for samsung pay its been very convenient and the best part are the rewards. Free starbucks, free movies, free wireless charger, free powerbank and alot more.

That why i still stick to samsung for phones while tablet i use apple.

I give you a scenario. I go tesco i open my tesco loyalty card from samsung pay app and then switch to pay card after that through samsung pay all this happen within 5 seconds.

Another scenario at shell. Open samsung pay app open bonus link card scan then switch to card to pay and samsung pay its even wider than apple because even machine doesnt support paywave like at SHELL or old merchant you still can use so its the closest to stimulate an actual card.
