Hi guys, I will be going with my family in November.

I have most of my itineraries sorted out, but one issue have been bothering me. We are travelling in a group of 5. Transportation will be an issue as taxi maximum 4 pax right? Any advice?

Get a hiace if you plan to travel far.
If within city vicinity, the train is good enough. if need to take taxi can split into two cars. Hailing a taxi is easy in Thailand - many on the road.

Most probably would take uber then from airport as there is 3 of us flying to BKK and we are ariving late evening.
My friend just want to see have a look at siam paragon and chicks around there (LOL) . not really into shopping though.

Noted on grand palace wat pho and wat arun. Actually was planning to have braised pork leg at Charoen Saeng Silom.
I google and found out that its very near the mandarin oriental pier (chao praya river) .
Was thinking after a decent brunch we can go to watpho/arun/ grand palace through the jetty at mandarin oriental pier.

Will look for pee aor tom yum as well!

if request to use meter taxi they reluctant to take.
mostly we offer them.
eg from pratunam to ratchada: meter reading thb112 with jam. However, no use meter they want 200. Bargain to 150.
need to ask few taxi.
back seat need to squeeze 4 peoples.

seldom use metered taxi , but nowadays uber is too much.. most of the time surge at 1.5-2.9x ..ridiculous

within bkk u dont need taxi just use skytrain + walk

i search for family theme park in bkk but most only water park. any ideas of good family activities?
planning to go with the family (kids 10~18yo) for short trip like 3 nights. so far in mind is shopping & eating

green colour near chicken rice shop there best price
long queue, lots of local and require passport regardless of amount
they operate it like a bank, 4-5 counters

its 5* hotel , room clean and environment good .... if u book North Tower , got to change lift at level 11 and walk to another tower . about 5mins distance... best hotel so far during my stay at Rm280.

convenient ? opposite Platinum Fashion mall .... got night market in front of Palladium Mall , which is beside of the hotel only ... plenty of street food opposite the hotel as well.... 7-11 beside the hotel , go out hotel entrance and turn right and u will see it ....

i go to BTS there to change ... orange color .. RM100 for 832baht .. got few counters and require passport even i exchanged Rm150 only
