Well is I've mentioned, I shamefully have next to zero knowledge on what S Korea have to offer. It's easier to navigate in Japan with only a Suica card but I have no idea on the public transportation in S Korea. Never been to Korea before much less in winter, plus I can't really drive so that's a no on a rental. I just need a quick confirmation before I threw myself into the research rabbit hole.

Thanks thumbup.gif

incheon airport to seoul is about 1 hrs plus.

if u plan nicely, just go walk walk at seoul. what to enjoy, depend. after 9/10 shops are closed. normally. so, u can try google best place to visit.

maybe can go buy survenir since its damn cheaper than japan.

We toured Jeju with a friend who's been staying there so we didnt have problems with getting around.
Have you completed your itinerary to Jeju? I've stumbled upon this post before i went last month and it's pretty useful. http://www.travel141.com/south-korea-jeju/...el-destination/

Hi..can anyone help?.im going to S.korea for office trip (5d4n)..but a little bit tight on budget/pocket money..

basically, all travel/transport fee and food (3x per day) will be covered by company..

so i just left with some misc thing like light shopping while walking around during free time, maybe some extra snack/local food and maybe some entrance fee which outside the itinerary..

my colleague planning to bring around RM1k, but im not sure if i can allocate that much..can anyone here advise?.

Wah, travel, transport and food all included?

Then just allocate around RM100/day for all ur misc stuffs should be enough.

then you can bring less than 1k since everything included. probably around RM500. no need to buy any souvenirs if you are tight on budget. which part of korea you are going? what kind of entrance fee? if amusement park, definitely need to spend more. if palaces or etc will not be expensive. usually if company trip, it will be a completed tour from tour agency i guess? so probably u will have extra time at night or on the last day. you might not need to spend that much.

im not that much souvenir type of tourist..just some fridge magnet will do..

still did not do any study on where we going since all sponsored, so just followed the tentative..some palace, and tourist attraction places i guess..not sure about the amusement park..
AFAIK, the trip will be manage by a tour agency..hopefully RM500 will be enough for personal merchandise, snacks and extra food..

ahhh ic. then the rm500 pocket money should be more than enough for some personal merchandise, snacks and extra food.. you won't be spending 100 a bucks a day if you are alone for few hours.. since most of the time will be on tour. unless you splurge on something expensive or going to cafe's, buying cosmetics or clothes (for gals) hahaha

Hi, any recommendations on how to buy Everland tickets?

Should I get them online?

Or walk-in will be cheaper?

Coz I read some reviews, during Chuseok (day before and day after), Everland will give foreigners some discounts. So I am not sure whether I should buy it online.

Or should I wait until that day when I plan to enter then only I buy?

Thanks inachi!

I think this is the cheapest price I could get. I misunderstood the 50% discount, that's only for foreign residents, not foreigners. Lol
