anyone here shop at costco korea before?

we cant, you need a member card to shop there.

that's why i'm asking
who knows someone here have card...things there seem alot cheaper than everywhere else

the card itself is universal

well i never did ask anybody because time is limited when on i was there.
you could easily burn a day going to costco.

seem like it's lotte mart as usual

dun forget emart and homeplus too.

ya, i have that 2 in my list too
but seem like these 2 are harder to find
i only know there is a homeplus near gyeongbokgung only

that one is a small called homeplus express.
lotte, homeplus and emart are everywhere on google map but most of them are the small express one.

better check out the streetview to confirm its the big or small one bcs the small ones are not worth going to.
i know the one near lotte tower is the big one.

lotte tower at jamsil station?...i don't have plan to go to that station

yup thats the one near jamsil station.

almost all of the big hypermarkets are situated away from popular tourist attractions.
so tats hard to recommend.
i recommend near the lotte tower bcs most people go to lotte world.

lotte mart at seoul station sure got a lot of people bcs its very near to myeongdong/namdaemun.

if your going to Hongik Uni station there is a Homeplus just another stop away at Hapjeong exit 1.

Going to Seoul early april with family, prays hard that the virus is in control during that time.

Anyway could someone give some input on my itinerary below? Travelling with a group of 8 pax including 1 toddler, so try not to packed too much places in a day. Is there any other places that I should visit or I should not visit ?

Hi, I'm going to Seoul in March and I do not have an itinerary yet.

In Day 2, for Nami Island trip, since you will be travelling out of town, may I suggest you include Garden of Morning Calm in your itinerary as well? If you would like to do two places only, you might wanna leave out Petite France instead.

Are you gonna do a Day Tour or DIY? You can check out Klook or KKDay for their day tour packages. Since you will be travelling with a toddler, it will be more comfortable if you are driven.

Their tours end at 7.00pm so you are able to catch dinner at Myeongdong Night Market in the evening.

COEX Underground mall nothing much if you plan to do some shopping there as namdaemun and myeongdong pretty much covers everything they have there. main attraction is the library and the aquarium though.

namdaemun and myeongdong if shopping during day and night not much difference. only difference is the street food vendors are more at night and the lighting during night at myeongdong is beautiful.

last time i went to diy nami island tour and back we reach back to our hotel at almost 11pm lol.

I prefer day tour as it's much more convenient for my mum & my toddler. Yeah I'm sourcing around Klook as well, planning to find a private tour & rent the a van to bring us there.

I actually run out of place to go as I've cover most of the main attractions there. Appreciate if you can share any other place to go. My sis 'specifically' requested a shopping trip so thats why I'm going to myeongdong several times during my stay hahaha.

If going during cherry blossom season, maybe try the area around Seoul Forest?
Then after can go to Seongsu-dong for some shopping and coffee.

Insadong and Ikseondong are also some other choices if you've never been.

if you really going shopping at seoul, several times not enough need everyday

the whole dongdaemun district itself is a clothing shopping haven.
kilometers of shops i tell you as far as the eye can see.
