on issue no.3 , a pax for bbq is 18000-20000 won, a ramen is 6000-8000 won  , mee cup is 1000-2000 won, street snack is 5000 won, milk and those drinks in 7-11 is 2000-4000 won. basically food is expensive.

for the train, each time u enter, is 1370 won. for purchase of cosmetic it is cheaper than malaysia, suggest u go lotte department store (duty free at 10th floor) and buy from there.

For purchase of food, for variety, buy at lotte mart, for limited but cheaper products, can buy at airport after u passed immigration and waiting at boarding gate, got few shops sell food, cigs & liquor, all duty free. can angkat and bring to the plane straight without worrying about weight.

For jeju, must visit mount hallasan  , a truly magnificient place, skip those musuems.  if you rent car, pls get the most economical car, petrol is very expensive

Errr... I don't think that's a great suggestion. My 2 cents is, it's not worth the few bucks saved just to wait for the elevator to the 10th floor, fight with the PRCs and then endure the amount of rudeness from these sakai people.

Stay at the street lol for cosmetics.

Ya they are seriously on a different level when it comes to shopping. I've seen many PRC harass the salesmen and salesladies too, but alas their managers all don't care because money talks. doh.gif

taejongdae always get affected even small showers  tongue.gif
bring my friends go few times also rain.  sweat.gif  the danubi train will stop if rain. then you have to walk by foot and the area is huge!! worst is it's windy and not suitable to bring umbrella. experience soaked under the rain with my friends as we had walked half way in (before that it's drizzle so my friend thought should be ok). who knows heavy rain after we had walk half way inside. in my opinion no point if you go if raining as you can't enjoy the scenery
*
damn really, the day before was rainining whole day
next day the danubi train is not working
I need to wait until 11am only can go in
pity those ppl who didn't wait and walk in

QUOTE(yvonnesoo @ Oct 6 2016, 04:37 PM)
no. if wanna go all location of drama setting, then definitely the list is very long  tongue.gif  unless places that i feel worth and wanted to go for photography then i will plan to go. perhaps next round if time permits. kekeke. or after u go already you tell me nice or not.

i have yet to go to the pohang hamigot and this will be added in my list  icon_idea.gif

damn I went to jukseong, the church already been tore down to ground zero. not by tsunami.
maybe they plan to build something new there

QUOTE(yvonnesoo @ Oct 25 2016, 05:15 PM)
usually the cherry blossom event / activity started from end of mar to beginning of apr. this year also around the same time of your travel date. however if raining, then tree not that nice already  laugh.gif

due to inflation of our rm, you need to spend more now. your trip next year, i can't predict the rate will be higher till how much. no longer cheap going to seoul anymore  tongue.gif  of cause spending in  jeju will be cheaper compare to seoul. roughly estimate rm35 and above per pax for a meal in a normal restaurant. can be cheaper if sharing and depends on what you eat. street food is not cheap

3.81 is very high now, almost comparable to yen doh.gif

I asked for cheguwey hanwoo....so he gave me the 19k/100g portion.

Had 200g of it. Good but more chewy than wagyu.

Also had rhe best damned pork I've ever tasted from the samgyeopsal. Post later.

Some explosion happened in a chemical storage facility a few days ago but I didn't understand what they were saying or where it was. I haven't seen any news of any explosions in the last 24hrs.

I'm still in Korea now.

Ok update on an "explosion". Some reckless minivan drove and hit another car, skidded inside the traffic tunnel and burst into flames.

Traffic got stopped and everyone evacuated from the tunnel.

Don't know the location though.
