He convinced me to stay with m43
I was in a dilemma to whether sell my m43 or Fuji system since I already have Sony FF and When news of Olympus decided to sell it's image division, more or less I got the thought that m43 has no future and feel like to let go all my m43 stuff

But Due to nostalgic reason and also Robin convincing videos. I decided to let go my Fuji system instead. So far no much to lose except missing the Fuji control once a while

Just spoken to a gentleman called Lee from OMD World Imaging... very friendly & informative chap.

But dayum, if send camera to service and check the IBIS would take between 10-15 working days.... cannot lar haha.

Guess have to live with it lar. Still a great camera body though.

I just came across his Youtube channel a few days ago whilst looking for Fujifilm XF10 review. Didn't really explore his content yet, I just clicked subscribe because I like his video content. Followed him on FB. Then found out he's popular among m4/3 users. And today found out he just resigned. shocking.gif

I never had any m4/3. Was into APSC casual photography a few years back. Thinking to get a Pana GX-9 or LX-100 to try out. Do you think it is too late to the game? haha... long time no follow development of photography. Last cam I had was Ricoh GR.

Anyway the E-P3 which I picked up has the orange blinking IS icon which I checked online, is related to the stabilization module being faulty. I am still able to take photos and thanks to the light setup I guess there's no really not much worries about image shake.

I checked with the seller and it turns out all her remaining stock has the blinking orange IS icon...

According to some analysis, the new sensor of om1 is not much better than the old em1iii 20mpx sensor. Not as per what omd bold 2 stops improvement claim. Let's see what gh6 new sensor bring to the table.

Just found out that the internal capacitor in the camera no longer hold the date/time properly.

You guys think it is a good idea to just get a E-M10 Mk IV or continue using the PEN? I still plan on getting a few primes for casual street/travel photography.

trust me and still keep the a m43 with you.
like it or not with all its shortcomings its really fun to use.

i have replaced all my compact point and shoot cameras with m43 a long time a go.
its now my main fun lens to take along with me everywhere especially hiking.

thats what i read too.
sony developed a new sensor for m43 for we wont be seeing it on the new upcoming m43 systems.

i finally tried the DXO Photolab.
the noise reduction algorithm is very, very good.
deepprime really almost no noise even with ISO 1600 and ISO 3200 is very acceptable.
of course at ISO 3200 and above you still lose some detail but noise is really under control.
i also like how the software do not over process colors and exposure too.
