Do you have multiple M43 lenses?

for me, the 2.8 is a good trade-off to wipe my 25 f1.7 pana and 14mm f2.5 out of my bag.
the sharpness on this thing is a beast.

ya, XT3 with expensive kit lens are nearing A7-III price, no point upgrade from m43, but x-trans sensor have their own problem so I rather recommend m43 system.

The recent announcement of Olympus Sale had many people dead worried as it is seen as the demise of the camera giant but I strongly beg to differ. IMHO this is because it found a worthy buyer to continue the Olympus story to bring it to greater heights. I don't see the sale as an end but a new beginning of the continuance of the great camera maker.

In all the upheavals I couldn't refrain myself but must get my hands on an Olympus body and I did, the inaugural OM-D E-M1, so nostalgic, this is the camera body with such beautiful design that I have drooled for a very very long time and the minute it touched my hands it confirms my longing for such a design, simply awesome fantastic to hold. So many years later it is still the best design, to me anyways.

I have a few Canon EF lenses and I have adapted (via Viltrox EF-M1) the famous and inexpensive Canon pancake lens EF-S 24mm f2.8, very very sharp little lens. Below are some of the test shots I have taken this morning. SOOC. Initially the EM1 seems to have a hard time focusing the lens but after a latest firmware update of the adapter, no issues at all. The AF speed is nothing to boast about but for the price I have no complain either.

Hey guys.

Oly 14-42mm pancake lens showing the "Please check status on lens". Keeps extending/retracting... could it be the flex ribbon problem? Occurred when I absent mindedly changed lens while the em10ii was still on (I unmounted another lens and mounted the 14-42mm ez lens) and it started doing that. I can mount other lenses on the camera and seems normal with other lenses.

Would love to hear what you guys know so I can troubleshoot as well. Cheers all

sony developed a new sensor for m43 for we wont be seeing it on the new upcoming m43 systems.

i finally tried the DXO Photolab.
the noise reduction algorithm is very, very good.
deepprime really almost no noise even with ISO 1600 and ISO 3200 is very acceptable.
of course at ISO 3200 and above you still lose some detail but noise is really under control.
i also like how the software do not over process colors and exposure too.

Using FL-600R. Any tutorials or suggestions on getting better results for indoor shooting?
Decided to stick to M43 for the moment. Economy doesn't look good. May get a used body, feeling itchy for an EM5 II or Panasonic (But my lens are oly). Any suggestions?
