QUOTE(Hexlord @ Mar 7 2022, 10:50 AM) Just found out that the internal capacitor in the camera no longer hold the date/time properly. You guys think it is a good idea to just get a E-M10 Mk IV or continue using the PEN? I still plan on getting a few primes for casual street/travel photography. bummer! IBIS is the core of Oly m43 system. OMD is leaps ahead compared to PEN system. even the old e-m5 mark 1 still can beat any latest PEN, most notably because of the 5 axis IBIS. use the PEN first to find out if m43 is to your liking or not before you invest any further. there are cons and pros for every system including m43.

E-P7 also offers 5 axis IBIS haha. I'll get a few more lenses then see how it goes.

You can enquire from OMD World Imaging.... I recently called them regarding the prospect of repairing my E-P3. Address: VO6-06-02, Signature 2, Lingkaran SV, Sunway Velocity, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Phone: 03-2702 3575 They did mention about the average turnaround time for repairs/servicing = 7-14 working days. QUOTE(COOLPINK @ Mar 7 2022, 05:11 PM) thats what i read too. sony developed a new sensor for m43 for we wont be seeing it on the new upcoming m43 systems. i finally tried the DXO Photolab. the noise reduction algorithm is very, very good. deepprime really almost no noise even with ISO 1600 and ISO 3200 is very acceptable. of course at ISO 3200 and above you still lose some detail but noise is really under control. i also like how the software do not over process colors and exposure too. Glad to know you find this wonderful piece of software helpful Still remember the first day I use that Deep prime, almost unbelievable and surreal I am now waiting for anything v2 deep prime which I hope adding another stop of improvement

Don't mind the time line, as long as can repair. Thank you very much Not sure want to stick with m43 or sell everything and start fresh with A7III. Any suggestions.

Have to agree with you on the size and weight. Just that when we shot indoor with flash the outcome m43 is just not there.

Any suggestions. Maybe can consider A6400 or A7c as well lar. To me I just started on this whole m43 journey. Really liking it so far. I picked up an E-M10 Mk II from a seller today. Looking forward to using it over the weekend.

Make traveling more enjoyable. i agree with you there. try hiking up a mountain to take some scenic shot and by the time you get there you will be cursing yourself why you did not bring along the m43 phone cameras with their AI are good nowadays. so good until some can give the dedicated camera a run for its money. but for shooting RAW no contest with dedicated camera there.
