QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Jul 11 2017, 02:21 PM) you need double the shutter speed compare with 15mm but f/1.4 aint 1 stop faster than f/1.7. shutter speed aside...it is better to include more background and depth of field for family photo...15mm more suitable in my opinion. true its 0.5 stop faster. if it was me i stick to the kit lens. the 14-42 range covers almost all the mostly used focal range. just use flash for low light. if only they could make a 14-42mm kit lens at f1.7-2.8. QUOTE(kfhoe @ Jul 11 2017, 02:57 PM) Flex cable in lens or body? How diagnosed it? How to fix it? any recommended camera shop? Thanks a lot flex cable in lens. its a common problem on modern lenses after a few years of usage. extending and retracting the lens over and over will cause the flex cable to bend in and out and finally break. only way to diagnose it is by trying other lens as another forumer mentioned. last time i ask, its not worth to fix it. just buy a new one. QUOTE(Atsumori @ Jul 25 2017, 10:59 PM) hi guys need some advice, which one to choose? Pana DC GF9k or Oly E-M10 II? about the same price i will chose the E-M10 II. a viewfinder is always good to have although i do not like EVF. IBIS also always good when using third party lenses that do not have stabilization e.g. Laowa 7.5mm F2.0 GF9K has more features but most of the time you wont be using it , trust me.
