Just get the Olympus 12-40 la. Reviews of the lens not very good since it isn't a constant 2.8.

most reviews just say it's sharp, the low light performance not very good only

or 2 Pana bodies and you get Dual IS with Pana 12-35 + 35-100 2.8 (shorter reach)

http://www.digicamdb.com/compare/panasonic...c_lumix-dc-gf9/

Better screen resolution, better video recording, more features you almost always don't use

40-150 is a bit too big for the body I'm using currently, maybe I'll get 12-40 and 35-100(not yet test this one before)...currently using kit lens on GX85...doing more video work to share with family and friends.

join the next one? im planning to join the bird outing again + the macro outing (skipped the previous one coz no camera to shoot with at that time)
this setup would give 420mm with no IS, but yeah it's so much cheaper
im planning to get the 40-150 next since im using the 12-40, but after i get those extra batteries n accessories la.. $$

I almost join all, this month slightly busy. Am Robin Wong's follower laugh.gif

You meant 40-150+MC14 = 210mm ( 420mm in FF ) ? IBIS works perfectly biggrin.gif
Take your time, I spend like one year testing 40-150 pro during Oly outing, before I finally bought one. Price too high, so once I saw a pre-loved unit from YL, just grab it.

hahaha that makes the two of us icon_rolleyes.gif
yeah, coz i didnt try the 40-150mm with the MC14, so not sure if IBIS is enough at 420mm

the 300mm IS + IBIS is superb, didnt have any trouble shooting 1/10 at 600mm
