ya man, i think i hilang for quite some time
life bro

yea, the lens a bit inconvenient, but according to salesman, can use x mount lens, i think i still have to x mount lens lying ard from my xpro1

they dont have mk5, so i just molest the mk2

i was told the gf7 is a mirrorless, so can share lens with olympus omd camera?

what your suggestion bro, headache sial

Among all the X-mount lens, that kit 16-50mm is already considered the most suitable biggrin.gif

There's the tiny 27mm but that's hardly the focal length for vlogging and then there's also the 18mm f2 but that's too noisy for video.

As for GF7... it's up to GF9 already. It's M43 so of course it can share lens with oly omd.

ok then
its either the GF 9 or the rx 100 v then

the x lens very protruding, making it not very compact

yeah after think think 1 night I think prefer a cheaper option if possible. actually I already have D750 & X-T1.. just need something small to bring out during weekend..
*
In that case either 1st or 2nd gen rx100, (or just get an ipon). I dont think anything else can compete with its size, price and relative img quality.

With a tight budget, I'd be more than happy with rx100 mk3 especially a used one. I don't think they improve too much on still quality? Except video and general hardware.

If you already have one then there's really not much of a point to upgrade.

Then again, newer model has auto ISO min shutter speed and electronic shutter. The former can be easily implemented via firmware but since its a sony... oh well.

Base from what i read, i think the new autofocus system makes a real diff
4k is small bonus, thats all
unless its old school or vintage cam, i wouldnt really get myself a used cam unless super dirt cheap, once it spoil, the repair fee not cheap

For me I'd be bringing out my main camera as I won't be settled with less image quality. I'd get a small carry bag that stuff just 1 camera and 1 lens. I felt lazy to bring when I don't have the right bag. Weight doesn't really matter as I know I'll be getting quality.

For selfie, I'd rather use my phone. Selfie with large sensor will be asking for troubles when it comes to DOF and weight laugh.gif

I'd say, RX100 falls in between quality and lightweight, that does most things with plenty of quality.

As mentioned above, I'd rather lug the D750 around with just one lens, and do the rest with my phone like selfie and stuffs.

However, if you have babies in one hand and camera on the other, then it all make sense to have a small camera. laugh.gif

Do note that 4K is primarily just a paper spec since its got a 5min limit.

On the other hand, I'm an uncle with well patina-ed facial features.

Phone selfies are just awful for me as it makes me look like a transvestite with make up malfunction.

Still baffles me why phones front camera don't shoot raw.

Hahaha that make sense too, but most phone can turn off the beauty feature and you keep your patinas. Perhaps the girls and your wife in the frame won't be too happy though. laugh.gif

People won't be bothered with RAW especially on base ISO there will probably be visible noise. People would spend time to get rid of the noise, and rather have it sorted automatically by the camera software.

RX100 iv

Reason being:

- Panny evf are just so so and MkIV's evf is improved over mk3 so theyre comparable.

- selfie screen on the mkIV

- RX's 1" sensors noise and dynamic range dont lose out to pannys m43 sensor let alone a cropped one.

- Auto iso min shutter speed.

- pocketability

Also wanna add one more hardly mentioned point.

"Pocketability" are quite rough on the camera.

It gets knocks and dings here and there so that could impact its longevity.

Then there's the lints and dust from life inside the pocket that will sooner or later find its way into the sensor.

So do consider if you'll get any ouchies if that expensive camera gets killed.
