Oh nice! Been wondering where are all those photos. This year too many damn photographers (I think I stepped on so many foot). Yet not much to be found in facebook and flickr some reason.

So I went to shoot some videos during SEA Games... and the GX85 kit lens, 12-32mm, really too short

Feel like I should get the 35-100mm then only get 12-40mm.

well, it depends on how near you are to the action

if cannot then have to hantam 300mm F4 d

So far I think the best compromise is uhd with digital zoom 2x, still have the 100mbps bit rate. Essentially doubles the focal length, looks better than uhd crop to full hd.

cannot afford that yet...also very huge.

Maybe I should try out olympus 75mm F1.8 or maybe 42.5 F1.7?

then cheapest 1 will be 45-150mm

What is the recommended four thirds lens to micro four thirds adapter for Panasonic GX85? Just got a crazy idea, use older lens like 14-54mm F2.8-3.5 which is more affordable... or like a 35-100mm F2

your not crazy. some old lenses are a gem and value for money especially you already have a few of them lying around collecting dust.

if you need and adapter then go the olympus MMF3

The last time I tried a 4/3 Oly 35-100mm 2.0 with MMF-3 on an EM-1mk1 it was super bulky and the autofocus was unbearably slow.

Unless you want to shoot in manual all the time, I'd recommend just get a Pana 35-100 2.8
