FC1 is Civic 1.5T bro... and yes, it has paddle shift. No real need actually for paddle shift as the CVT always keep the engine rev in the best power band.

As I said, put a Civic 1.5T and Civic 2.0 side by side, overtaking on highway, 1.5T will always win. I used to own an FD2 from 2011 to 2016 and the FC1 outclasses it in every way.
*
FC1 is Civic 1.5T, what you call for Civic FC 1.8 ? - sorry. i don't know about this.

Overtaking on highway, sure 1.5T win...

What about Ulu Yam & Ulu Langat road or on the street racing? FD's paddle shift with 6AT is faster than FC's paddle shift paired with CVT (bear in mind 1.5T has turbo lag)

Dah beli + modified baru perasan? tongue.gif

Yes, that was one of the main gripes we had with the car. I'm really not sure why Honda Malaysia didn't include it. I'm sure it won't really affect the costing much...

I only used the fold down seats (only my old FD2) when I was heavily into cycling. Now, with my bad back, I can't really cycle, so not using it anymore.
*
Hahaha..seriously, I didn't notice it. Too much thinking of modifying..haha

Agreed. It not costing to much. For premium, should have this features. At flood area, folding seats is needed to carry a lot of stuff.

Are you fully recovered bro?

The paint splatter looks more like building paint based on the size of the droplets.  Body shop Overspray is usually not as visible and only felt by touch - over the panels.  Swirls looks bad for a new car, but I have seen the condition of the cars before it's prepped for delivery, and some looks muddy as though it's been sitting out in an open lot for a while under the influence of the weather.  SC usually sends to polish/wax the car before delivery, but my dealer did a bad job doing this and the car was full of "burn" marks from the motorized orbital that they used.  After a few coats of wax + sealant then only the swirl/burn marks go away.

I would send the car to get professionally coated with a good coating.  I notice that the CKD Honda's clear coat is "soft" and prone to scratches esp. near the bumper area where sometimes bags etc drag against the surface.  A good coat has great hardness rating and helps reduce the scratch probability.

Yesterday I update form the salesgirls at least she polished back for me but other parts rubber need to replace , told her to ensure won't masuk water when raining

love the spoilers, but need to think about drilling the holes. Happen to my previous car, the holes allow rain water into my bonet and have to live with it until I sold the car... cry.gif

Heavy raining after spoiler installation.

Back home, checking and thanks God, no leaking.

That person who install my spoiler is truly a professional.

He also remind me, anything happen, immediately go to his shop.

May i know how many cm of the rear bonnet width? intend to install type R spoiler XD
*
For me, it's better you go to the shop and ask them to measure it by putting it on car bonnet.

Misjudge measurement will cause leaking and spoiler position is not align.

FD2 is 5AT bro... What 6AT are you talking about? Do you even have the FD2? LOL! Have you even tried the FC1 car? Turbo lag is extremely minimal, and you can only feel it if you mash on the accelerator hard. The Civic X 1.8 is FC2.

Ok la... As I said, I owned the FD2 for 5 years previously, so I'm in a position to review both smile.gif I really loved the FD2 - up until I saw the FC1 launch in the US, I knew I had to buy it. I even booked the car in February 2016 - way before the Malaysian launch laugh.gif

My previous car, Honda Civic 2011 Concept M. Happy I bought this earlier, instead of the dismal FB...

I never said i have FD2 also. I'm just pointed out FC1 may not be fast in catching up with FD2 in ulu yam road or street racing...no need to be so lansi.. i know you own both civic before & now..

It's just a chassis code... Most models are not available in Malaysia though. Some examples are listed below:

FG (2 Door Coupe, Civic 8th Gen and above)
FN (3 Door Hatchback, Civic 8th Gen and above)
FK (5 Door Hatchback, Civic 8th Gen and above)

EG/EH (4 Door Sedan, Civic 5th Gen)
EJ/EK (4 Door Sedan, Civic 6th Gen)
ES (4 Door Sedan, Civic 7th Gen)
FD (4 Door Sedan, Civic 8th Gen)
FB (4 Door Sedan, Civic 9th Gen)
FC (4 Door Sedan, Civic 10th Gen)

Sorry if I come out that way, not my intention to make fun of you. Civic FC is faster than FD2 bro, no matter straight line, winding roads or uphill. FD2R or heavily modified FD2 using K24 engines is another matter altogether where those high RPM NA engines will be better than small cc turbo. That's why I say if a stock vs stock, the new FC will (nearly) always beat the old FD.

I also owned FD2 b4 for 8 years.... i cant agree you more, FC there is no way to lose to FD2, the power diff is very obvious, but in terms of stability, i think FD2 is better..... not sure is it the FC tyres too lousy....

and no doubt..... FD2 is 1 of the best car.....

Boy racers have grown up and are racing Golf Rs, FD2Rs, AMG A45 etc. The run of the mill FC1, FD2 1.8/1.5T/2.0 are not bring used much for street racing and ulu yam runs anymore. Go to office, grocery store, fetch kids from school - Yes.

You forgot to add the Malaysian names to the Civic Generations i.e. Mayat, Dolphin, Ketam etc..
