Thanks for the tips. It's a bit tedious if need to adjust the setting and i expect just point and shoot. Not a bit hesitating to buy it as the camera surprisingly too much of noise.

if you looking for 'point and shoot' camera phone better opt for other brands.

Note 7 is indeed louder. But imo, the quality of the sound coming from it is also muddier, not as much clarity as what comes out of the XZ. Also, when in the standard watching a video position, the front facing speakers sounds better than the downwards/side way facing speakers. Also, while playing games landscape, with the N7 I tend to cover the speakers. No such issue with the XZ.
Pretty much this.
Same, wanted to pick one up yesterday for the missus but they had none in stock.

But speaker is not so much an issue, just invest RM50 into a tiny and portable external speaker, it'll demolish all phone speaker anyday and anytime tongue.gif

Thanks for the tips.
Will explore further.
Manual with auto settings means, the SCN set to OFF rite?
How about superior auto with 8mp? If my memory serve me right, it should be downsamples and merged like Nokia pureview ?
*
Yes. That is why 8mp pictures looks better than the full 23mp pictures.
I usually use manual mode, 8mp, scn off, iso and wb auto, hdr off unless got bright background. I find this setting good enough for point and shoot for most cases.

I usually dread the arrival of a new Android version.. usually means incompatibility, apps stops working etc, problems etc...

The last time I made the jump early on, the Z5 Premium had Bluetooth issues that was not fixed for months.

So for me, I won't update for a while.

If it broke Sony's current stamina mode, I'll probably skip it until it gets fix. After all MM 6.0.1 is running well now.

I already consider Sony's current stamina mode to be broken...

Doesn't work the way it used to work in the past.

the current Stamina mode is pretty much broken since MM. it's all due to Google's policy on battery management.
need to dig up the article again.
