i assume both the XZ and X Compact will release in October.
IMO, the moment when Sony made a true flagship is around Q3 of the year. |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Sep 9 2016, 09:56 PM) so usually what is the price difference between the compact and its bigger brother? if usually difference of RM500, then maybe XZ around RM2599? judging from Z5C and Z5, they differ in RM400.and oh, i should increase my estimation. it should be RM2199, as our unit may ship with dual SIM unit, which is 64GB internal memory. |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Sep 14 2016, 07:27 PM) Well not sure about recent xperia phone. But for my current z1 I found that using manual mode but keep all settings in auto and off the image stabilization actually give overall the best photo quality. That's the best easiest mode I use in my z1. There's an extra benefit for the full manual controls. For those whom wanted to create light trail effects, with the right equipment, they can make it. Also, it's good to compensate the high ISO with a lower shutter speed, to reduce noise. EDIT : oh why, Sony. why you make full manual control, but SS only can go up to 1 sec? QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Sep 16 2016, 03:39 PM) Well, not a big downgrade though. From 4GB to 3GB RAM is still acceptable as long it's smooth. For screen, I still prefer LCD over AMOLED.Plus, I love the front facing stereo speakers and software. 2 of my Sony phones have yet to lag on me. EDIT : I may miss the S Pen as it served me well during work. This post has been edited by raymondtong94: Sep 16 2016, 04:24 PM |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Sep 17 2016, 04:28 PM) Even my mom's note4 I noticed that. In some photos the people look so sharpened that it look like the person is cut-and-paste into the pic and looks unnatural. Note 7 has the worst sharpening actually. S7E still okay.not saying sony camera is the best. It was never the best in smartphone. But honestly it's still able to take good photos. Not the best but definitely still consider good. |

QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Sep 19 2016, 12:18 AM) If camera quality is really a huge factor, why not just get a DSLR? Nowadays you can also directly share your pics through Facebook and social media, plus much more efficiency, instead of complaining phones camera issue, cause for a camera guy, phone camera is definitely not enough. Some people however, prefers 'all in one'.I hardly depend on smartphone camera as i always take document photos more. |
