Xperia X Performance is not the most successful product, and the existence of the Xperia XZ, true successor of the Xperia Z5 completely proves it.

it requires some additional taps. drag down quick menu and tap detect USB device. if it's not there, you can add it.

can't control this as most OEM are opting for hybrid solution to cut costs. that's why we have 64GB for dual SIM model to compensate the lack of mSD cards support if using dual SIM.

Sony Xperia is getting lesser and slower support from XDA.
Like no hope for getting exploit root.

u can always root by unlocking BL & losing DRM keys for good.
there wont be any exploit im afraid due to DM-verity which lies in kernel.
nth u can do at kernel stage except flashing custom/modded kernel.

I don't mind lossing DRM. I care about warranty only. I also bought another 2years extended warranty.
I usually only flash small mod, like adjust the speaker quality... seldom modify kernel level.
