Received my phone 2 days ago. Bought online. I think the phone is preinstalled with fake rom as i cant find the details on Miui website. I cant flash through the update process as always mentioned cant verify package. Can i go back to the shop and ask them to flash the official rom instead?

Guys, got my MTK few days back..I wanna change rom due to the current rom is not official listed in MIUI. I think the supplier have insert me a fake rom. First thing, is it I have to unlock the bootloader in order to flash another rom? What is the proper steps of changing rom? Your help very much appreciate.
