QUOTE(calvintiffy @ Aug 25 2023, 12:33 AM) Hi there, any Fujifilm camera to recommend for newbie? I love fujifilm's simulations especially those that can produce vintage vibes. Thanks What is your budget for the camera body? And your budget for lenses ? And what type of photography you want to shoot? We need to know this before we can recommend you a camera body and lens/lenses. This post has been edited by Loseeker: Aug 25 2023, 12:42 AM

Hi there, thanks for the reply. Appreciate it. My budget is up to RM4K ish. I would usually go with street photography or sometimes portrait mode, don't really know much about lenses, but I can invest in a few lens in future i think.

It seems so, I was at a camera store inside Times Square last weekend, overheard the staff talking about lack of stocks for Fuji cameras and price going up. Not sure it is because the system has become really popular nowadays from the Tiktok X100V viral, or reduction of manufacturing from the factories.

If you're looking for wider view angle I am recommend the viltrox 13mm which I am aslo owning it.

Does that mean their parts supply drying up? Or just preparing for next gen new product to replace it? XE4 was abruptly discontinued too, then harga goreng. But X-S20 also using the same sensor, so can't be the sensor itself.

I reckon they just gave up on the lower end market altogether. Was in Osaka last month and XT5's the only apsc fuji that remains on display in bic camera/yodobashi.

Recently, my Fujifilm XT100 evf not working anymore, so I decided to open it up myself to have a look and I just broke one of the ribbon cable like a stupid. Was wonder if anyone have send to center to repair before how much will it cost? the cable is connect to press button beside the led other than this all no problem.

Nowadays, Fujifilm Malaysia send the gears to SG service centre for repair. Not sure they can quote you immediately or need to send to SG for checking first. You can whatsapp fujifilm Malaysia +60 12-221 3044 or call +6012 221 5784 This post has been edited by GripRunner: Jan 3 2024, 02:11 PM
