Xt100 AF is really bad. The XE3 has the same sensor and processor as the XT2 and the XT20. It would be a much better option compare to the XT100. Also, I think the XT100 series are ugly, which is very subjective.  biggrin.gif

i don't mind n the design but the important part would be things like AF if you think the AF is really bad i'll avoid them man. will look into XT2, XT20, XE3 etc.. just want to get my hands on a spare for still shooting.

The AF was really bad, trust me. A few years back, I wanted to sell a lens to a female buyer, and she already told me she was using XT100. Knowing that the XT100 has bad reputation AF, I decided to bring along my XT20. And true enough, the lens focus very slowly on the XT100, so I immediately performed the same AF test using the same lens on my XT20. The faster AF speed of the XT20 was so significant that, the female buyer cannot and did not argue with me. Of course, she ends up buying the lens and posted her XT100 up on FB for sale.

The latest firmware 1.1.2 said to be fixed some issues with AF. I am not really aware any significant diff so far between the latest and the previous.

I agreed with what nyamuk said. Seems quite a few around on shopee. Usually I will check at the date they joined as well as the rating they have received. That generally has been a good guideline for me to trust the seller or not.

I am monitoring quite a few of new sellers in there. Some are trying to imitate other big name such as johan photo which is quite famous in the southern region. Lately few sellers that trying to selli super cheap at quarter at the market price is a indicator of scamming. I managed to PM one of those, sounds like Indonesian.

Just a quick feedback on my previous post about the possibility of scam seller in shoppe, the crazy low offerings are now deleted and banned by the platform. I wonder if anyone already kena until they made official report. Good for all.

Not very sure about XT4, but mine is XT30ii got mcmc sticker. Maybe you can check with Fuji directly provided you know the serial no. of that unit.

Welcome to Fuji. Which Fuji camera you got ? And from which Nikon camera ? I used to be a Nikon user myself. From how you sound, I think you were using Nikon dslr? Let me guess, D5600 ?

I bought my XT1 used, it has MCMC sticker. OTOH, I bought my XT3 brand new, but it was import set, so no MCMC sticker. So, my guess is, if no mcmc sticker on the body, very high chances that it's an import set.

Dont worry. Fuji MY is sucks anyway. They will send to Singapore take 2 months one way. One service prepare to wait for 3-4 months lol.

That’s why I dont bother MY or Import set anymore.

My first Fuji was X-T200, registration sent for warranty activation but took weeks without any status. Sent an email to them about the matter, later on my warranty approved in the same day. My second fuji X-T30ii luckily about 2 or 3 days approved already.

I see. Since you are given the option to register your camera on fuji website, then I think it should be fuji malaysia set. Instead of wondering e warranty website always got problems, why don't you go ahead and register it and see if that's true or not? Unless you want to deliberately put that on hold to extend your warranty period..... hmm.gif

I've sent two lenses to them last year around January. Their services was relatively fast (2 months both ways), but now I heard it's getting worse.

If the price is the same, of course I go for Fuji MY set, because you get free service for manufacturing defects. But since the price of import sets are usually much cheaper, I never hesitate to go for import set if the options are available. So far, I almost never get manufacturing defects with the cameras and lenses I've purchased since 2016 from my sony days. But then again, even if I do, I can go always back to the seller, because even import set has warranty, just that you need to go back to the seller instead of fuji malaysia.

Woh, from FF to Apsc. shocking.gif I was once a 4/3 user (olympus e-300). Ever since I came to apsc I don't think I can ever go back to the smaller sensor. What makes u want to "downgrade" to apsc ?

APSC and FF maybe got huge difference 10 years ago but nowadays APSC camera like Fuji X system is as good or even better than many Full Frame camera.

Price, Size and Film simulation are the main reason I switch to Fuji. Apsc doesn’t really matter because Fuji has alot of 35mm equivalent focal length lenses.

their lens are quite small in size and lightweight. Easy to carry everywhere. When I was using D750 it was quite cumbersome to carry around.

Don’t let sensor size limit your choices. Instead find what system suits you best.

Yeah, I agree. For me, I think apsc is the best compromise between price, size and DOF. Like many I always wanted more shallower DOF, but sometimes even fuji apsc lenses gave me too much DOF. So yeah, apsc is the best bang for buck.
