QUOTE(Loseeker @ Aug 24 2022, 05:11 PM) Welcome to Fuji. Which Fuji camera you got ? And from which Nikon camera ? I used to be a Nikon user myself. From how you sound, I think you were using Nikon dslr? Let me guess, D5600 ? XT4 I got. Jumping from D750. I bought my XT1 used, it has MCMC sticker. OTOH, I bought my XT3 brand new, but it was import set, so no MCMC sticker. So, my guess is, if no mcmc sticker on the body, very high chances that it's an import set. |

QUOTE(sharp903sh finder @ Aug 24 2022, 05:46 PM) Got a xt4, but there is this paper inside the box. Dont worry. Fuji MY is sucks anyway. They will send to Singapore take 2 months one way. One service prepare to wait for 3-4 months lol. Seller claim its MY Set, but no MCMC sticker, so i guess anything happen , i just claim from them la, since got conversation all. BTW, iszit true this fujifilm e warranty website always got problem? like cant register for warranty? ![]() That’s why I dont bother MY or Import set anymore. powerwoot liked this post

QUOTE(Loseeker @ Aug 25 2022, 12:26 AM) I see. Since you are given the option to register your camera on fuji website, then I think it should be fuji malaysia set. Instead of wondering e warranty website always got problems, why don't you go ahead and register it and see if that's true or not? Unless you want to deliberately put that on hold to extend your warranty period..... APSC and FF maybe got huge difference 10 years ago but nowadays APSC camera like Fuji X system is as good or even better than many Full Frame camera. I've sent two lenses to them last year around January. Their services was relatively fast (2 months both ways), but now I heard it's getting worse. If the price is the same, of course I go for Fuji MY set, because you get free service for manufacturing defects. But since the price of import sets are usually much cheaper, I never hesitate to go for import set if the options are available. So far, I almost never get manufacturing defects with the cameras and lenses I've purchased since 2016 from my sony days. But then again, even if I do, I can go always back to the seller, because even import set has warranty, just that you need to go back to the seller instead of fuji malaysia. Woh, from FF to Apsc. Price, Size and Film simulation are the main reason I switch to Fuji. Apsc doesn’t really matter because Fuji has alot of 35mm equivalent focal length lenses. their lens are quite small in size and lightweight. Easy to carry everywhere. When I was using D750 it was quite cumbersome to carry around. Don’t let sensor size limit your choices. Instead find what system suits you best. powerwoot liked this post
