QUOTE(barteria @ Sep 26 2016, 04:46 PM) Agreed that velvia/provia is better for landscapes compared to classic chrome, but it's always better+safer to shoot in RAW, OR you can use the film simulations bracketing to safe/remove post-production timeĀ No longer a fan of RAW as I don't have so much time to edit and convert. Fuji's JPEG is really good. Anyway, though these were taken with CC, I still think they are not too bad with CC. After that changed to Velvia. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by fruitie: Sep 26 2016, 05:01 PM

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 26 2016, 04:31 PM) I made a mistake using Classic Chrome in my landscape shots when I travelled to Yunnan. Luckily noticed the mistake after few shots. Phew. I personally with CC even landscape

QUOTE(HaN18 @ Sep 26 2016, 04:52 PM) RAW + JPEG + CLASSIC CHROME FTW!!! what filter you use when you shoot for food photography? BTW regarding about tripod, can https://www.manfrotto.us/manfrotto-mkcompac...-way-head-black use on XT1 + XF1655? or maybe XT2 + XF1655? they're 1.5KG only. Try considering the Sirui t-025X with c-10x ballhead. Or you could also consider the fotopro tripod (I think the model is S4-CN). Both are rather light and 300g lighter than the manfrotto you linked.

I mainly set it to Provia, C. Chrome and Acros red filter, so everytime I switch the drive mode to bracketing, I get 3 JPEGs with different tones/colors for each press of the shutter. Saves a lot of time and no more frustration accidentally change film simulation!!!
