Hi welcome here!

Just to add the Fujifilm retro-like allows user to tweak the settings before turning on the camera, not sure if Sony allows this.

and don't take the fujifilm film simulation lightly, it's really addicting and hell, I bet you won't be editting your photos a lot after using it. smile.gif

Hi, welcome here! There are no optimal settings on the Fuji other than turning every dial you can find to "A".

Make use of the "Q" button, set your custom profiles for situations that you can think of (day light & night time). For me I'm a lazy guy, I use aperture priority only. ISO set to Auto from ISO200 - ISO 3200 with the min shutter speed of 1/60.

haha.. same here min shutter 80 ISO min 200 - 3200/6400 CC filter , auto white balance. only play with metering mode and exposure dial.

RAW + JPEG + CLASSIC CHROME FTW!!! what filter you use when you shoot for food photography?

BTW regarding about tripod, can https://www.manfrotto.us/manfrotto-mkcompac...-way-head-black use on XT1 + XF1655? or maybe XT2 + XF1655?

they're 1.5KG only.

Try considering the Sirui t-025X with c-10x ballhead. Or you could also consider the fotopro tripod (I think the model is S4-CN). Both are rather light and 300g lighter than the manfrotto you linked.

sirui weight is around 0.7kg only HALF of manfrotto but but but the price also double of it sad.gif

couldnt find fotopro tripod in malaysia , all the fotopro are selfie stick for phone

Guys... finally managed to sell off my old camera.... and I think more or less I am poisoned by Fuji...

So my precious 2 cam... most used lens was the 35mm or 30mm prime lens so I am almost certain to get fuji 35mm as well....

Just that now occasionally I do feel like I need wide lens for group photo.... or sometimes I feel I need to zoom also when travelling and if stand far away then I need to zoom.... so based on that I guess I can try get the kit lens....

What I need opinion is:
1. Anyone uses the kit lens vs the 18mm prime and is there a big noticeable difference in IQ?
2. any other recommended lens based on my usage above?

Thanks !

18-55 kit lens is good enough, if you need WR go for 16-55 great for everything.. the downside is low light AF bit cacat , expensive and HEAVY!!

maybe you can consider 23mm f1.4 or 23mm f2 WR

Hi guys, I'm thinking to sell/trade in my current XT2 for the latest XS10. I dont take professional/studio/event picture, my purpose mostly is for my kid and vacation use which is currently not gonna use thanks to covid.

My current set up is XT2 with XF1655 WR lens and they are heavy as fark but they take beautify picture and I dont hardly edit much so I dont shoot RAW. My holiday location normally is in somewhere cold and I want to travel light, due to the weight and bulklyness of current set up, I brought to Japan for 2 weeks and Europe for 28 days. My shoulder are quite sore after end of the day.

Should I change my system to XS10 + XF23MM WR, stick with XF1655 or keep both.

My aim are light weight setup, fast auto focus. FUJIFILM

Btw XS10 doesn't have WR right and how mucb is the market price for used XT2?

You can join Fujifilm User Group Malaysia on FB. Or you can try sell to ST Chua in Berjaya time square. He's offer not bad for a dealer. You can whatsapp him first at +60 16-212 9900.
