3 days using the Note7 and must say experience has been excellent
Snappy performance, excellent probably best camera and good battery life ( easily 6+ hours SOT). If I use more wifi connection 7+ hours
The firmware update only makes the phone better
The new Spen and features is simply Fantastically good. Those who uses it will appreciate it
The side edges is less curve than S7e, S6e. Anyway all this time I had always love the features offered by the edge. If you don't like it just disable it

Some negatives - which is applicable to me only:
- phone warm up slightly during my first day continuous installation of app. This wasn't so on the S7e. Daily usage operating temperature however is OK and I don't feel any significant warmness
- Samsung had again as S7e over compact the phone dimensions. I much prefer Note5 size. Some users will love its new size but not me
- reducing resolution is a NO-NO for me as the end result is simply poor. Samsung should offer 1080p downgrade too besides 720p
- the new Settings layout is simply unattractive and quite slight troublesome to navigate through

My phone doesn't has SPen, sudden hang/freeze , reboot issues. Just hope it is so in coming days.

I will use this as my daily driver for at least next 2 to 3 weeks before reverting back to my other MiMax with its bigger display of 6.4 inches. The N7 will be my secondary phone than.
I had use the app Package Disable Pro to freeze some unwanted stuffs - phone is now even smoother . No root is necessary.  Restoring back is just a click away

I would rate overall satisfaction as 9.5 vs 9.0 on S7e

you mention about 720p resiolution downgrade. is it the display resolution or other aspect? for new update, there is option to change the screen resolution to 720p and 1080p.

Does it matter.... prices range from standard 39 to discounted 35.... to 129....

I suppose one could always report to consumer price watchdog... so as the gov. could fine these sellers...

I remember in the Note 5 where you can use the S Pen to write numbers and the phone will detect/recognize your handwritting (the number) and save it into your contacts or something? I can't find it in the Note 7..

i thought the latest update offers 1080p downgrade? there are 3 options available on my unit, HD, FHD (which is 1080p) and WQHD.

EDIT : option available at Display settings.

For those that complain of Full HD option not available, either you didn't pay enough attention or your firmware is corrupted.

Refer my screenshot below. No issues. This is before the latest update even.

chill bro, no one owe you anything, you can always figure your own way out the price tag. There's a lot people already states that it sells for rm39 for 2. if they intended to rip you off, you don't need to have price tag to prove it anyway, as they've acknowledge it anyway. mind your words if you're asking for a favor. please.

For those that have installed a plastic SP (like the Samsung one), do try to change the SPen tip to the white/grey one.

This white one is a harder plastic meant to mate with the soft SP.
The pre installed black one is meant for hard surfaces like the unprotected screen.

Found this tip online, tried it and it really does make a difference.

"Samsung has included two different S Pen tips with the Note 7. They are both meant for different purposes and not a replacement piece that many people might be led to believe. The softer S Pen tip is to be used when you don’t have any screen protector installed on your Galaxy Note 7, while the harder tip is meant to be used when a screen protector installed on the display."

I think is miscomm on the FHD thingy. On the old firmware theres only one options available which is under power saving mode. Now with new firmware you can change it under display settings. Cheerios. Anyone face process.system crash ?
