For those that have installed a plastic SP (like the Samsung one), do try to change the SPen tip to the white/grey one.

This white one is a harder plastic meant to mate with the soft SP.
The pre installed black one is meant for hard surfaces like the unprotected screen.

Found this tip online, tried it and it really does make a difference.

"Samsung has included two different S Pen tips with the Note 7. They are both meant for different purposes and not a replacement piece that many people might be led to believe. The softer S Pen tip is to be used when you don’t have any screen protector installed on your Galaxy Note 7, while the harder tip is meant to be used when a screen protector installed on the display."

My Silver Titanium set comes with the white tip on the SPen out of the box. I wonder if it is the soft type you mentioned. Only can compare it when I'm back later. Here's a photo of it.

So many people complain the phone hang here, I search around didn't seen people comment about this except those people trying to root the phone.

XDA only got people mentioned the phone is hang due to root.

Any members here phone hang is it naturally it hang or due to root?

Just installed the clear coat. These guys really put effort in making sure the whole installation done properly. But somehow I feel that the SP feels more rubbery than original Samsung SP

Yeah. Got fed up with the Samsung SP so might as well just get it done with. It takes around 20 minutes for full body installation.

I prefer the Samsung SP more. But honestly, it peeled within minutes. I couldn't stand the peeling of the Samsung SP so I just took the leap of faith and installed the Clear Coat which sticks perfectly. Maybe we'll just need to wait for a new batch to see if the Samsung SP will be improved.

Mine is Black Onyx, and the SPen has a black tip out of the box.
I changed it to the white one.
