I gave up finding the ori Samsung screen protector, so many branch sold out n Samsung is worse, they have different prices. They said they don't have ori screen protector. I mean come on, you are Samsung but you don't sell ori screen protector. Ended up buying from lelong(cky store) rm20 plus rm 6 shipping. I bought the best suit one, I think same one as sakurazz selling, not sure tho.

Anyone wants to try to buy from Amazon the liquidskin iqshield, they send to Malaysia. Seems quite cheap n got good reviews esp for the Samsung s7 edge. But I scared got problem with customs.

Oh and guys if u want to buy phone case, can try 11street. They got plenty. N they having promo for new customer to spin a voucher, can get rm11, 30% off (cap at rm30) or 90% off(cap at rm50), depends on luck.
*
I wanna get IQ shield also but doesn't ship to Malaysia. Only their main website but freaking expensive..

Don't get it. Peeling at the edges even with my Ringke Slim. Will be much worse for other thicker cases.

3 days using the Note7 and must say experience has been excellent
Snappy performance, excellent probably best camera and good battery life ( easily 6+ hours SOT). If I use more wifi connection 7+ hours
The firmware update only makes the phone better
The new Spen and features is simply Fantastically good. Those who uses it will appreciate it
The side edges is less curve than S7e, S6e. Anyway all this time I had always love the features offered by the edge. If you don't like it just disable it

Some negatives - which is applicable to me only:
- phone warm up slightly during my first day continuous installation of app. This wasn't so on the S7e. Daily usage operating temperature however is OK and I don't feel any significant warmness
- Samsung had again as S7e over compact the phone dimensions. I much prefer Note5 size. Some users will love its new size but not me
- reducing resolution is a NO-NO for me as the end result is simply poor. Samsung should offer 1080p downgrade too besides 720p
- the new Settings layout is simply unattractive and quite slight troublesome to navigate through

My phone doesn't has SPen, sudden hang/freeze , reboot issues. Just hope it is so in coming days.

I will use this as my daily driver for at least next 2 to 3 weeks before reverting back to my other MiMax with its bigger display of 6.4 inches. The N7 will be my secondary phone than.
I had use the app Package Disable Pro to freeze some unwanted stuffs - phone is now even smoother . No root is necessary.  Restoring back is just a click away

I would rate overall satisfaction as 9.5 vs 9.0 on S7e

I remember in the Note 5 where you can use the S Pen to write numbers and the phone will detect/recognize your handwritting (the number) and save it into your contacts or something? I can't find it in the Note 7..

RM149 for a sp I would rather buy screen crack protection. My 2 cents.
*
Screen crack protection doesn't cover scratches.. So you still need an SP for that and also especially for this phone because Gorilla Glass 5 scratches more easily..

Will be going to LYP Samsung service centre to buy the screen crack program + extended warranty for total of RM250.

Make sure you have registered your e-warranty before purchasing the program+warranty, which I did already yesterday via:

By the way guys, just a tip:

You can wake up the phone without pressing any buttons it by simply DOUBLE TAPPING on the notification from whatsapp message/sms/miss call/ which will wake the phone up. [Make sure you configure your Always On Display (AOD) to show notifications]. This is kinda like LG's double tap feature.

But it doesnt work if you don't have any notification on your AOD (Always on Display).

So is there any way I can double tap to wake up the phone if there are no notifications?

Pity you guys who have issues with the phone. If it were to happen to me, I'd be terribly frustrated and disappointed too..

Hope the issues will be resolved soon..

for me, different not much %, i will choose to on AOD. haha.

but to play safer for the screen itself, for over burning, better to off.

but since samsung dare to release the AOD, i believe there wont be any over burning issues in it.
*
You mean "burn in" issues?

It won't happen because the AOD keeps changing positions to avoid any burn in issues.

QUOTE(jacky91 @ Aug 23 2016, 10:04 AM)
didn't read about that ma...first time Note user sia doh.gif been away from Samsung for 3 or 4 yrs adi
haha...so far never hear over burning issue hmm.gif
*
Burn in issues is often discussed when talking about OLED panels.

haha ya. its a good info for those 'water-proof' phone [note 7], actually its not water-proof, its only water resistant.

i belive not everyone will try to play their phone under the water as well. dont think that u can dive into under sea around pulau [redang, tioman, langkawi] to capture nice view of underworld.

you will regret. dont play play XD haha..

The phone is rated at IP68. You can submerge it in water up to 1.5m deep for 30 minutes..

Can anyone review the clear coat by mobile outfitters? Is it compatible with the spen? As in is it smooth to write? Im thinking of getting it this weekend.

Just do a quick search here. Most people say it feels rubbery...

How come sometimes the phone's brightness does not max out under auto brightness? I've seen it displaying much higher brightness levels before. It's quite hard to see under the scorching sun sad.gif

What happened to the previous Note 5's S Pen feature where you can select a portion of a website to save it and the link will be embedded inside?
