I kept my device on for 2 days after owning it, but the Wifi shows that it's on for 22 days.

So many people complain the phone hang here, I search around didn't seen people comment about this except those people trying to root the phone.

XDA only got people mentioned the phone is hang due to root.

Any members here phone hang is it naturally it hang or due to root?
*
Never experienced any hang. My only complain is the sluggish system but it fixed after the latest firmware update. Everything turned smooth now.

- reducing resolution is a NO-NO for me as the end result is simply poor. Samsung should offer 1080p downgrade too besides 720p
*
i thought the latest update offers 1080p downgrade? there are 3 options available on my unit, HD, FHD (which is 1080p) and WQHD.

EDIT : option available at Display settings.

If someone were to ask me recommended accessories for their beloved note 7, I would personally recommend Samsung Clear Back Case and Samsung protective film. These 2 not only do a great job but also cheaper alternative (or maybe permanent) for protection.

Yeah haha, and it's a large upgrade. I still keep my Z Ultra though, for entertainment purposes. Still testing at the moment but so far, this is the first and only Samsung device that got my praise. biggrin.gif

How do you guys charge your phlne? Overnight or full charge before going to bed?
*
overnight via wireless and normal 1.5A adapter. icon_rolleyes.gif
my USB port is still a 'virgin' since day 1. laugh.gif

BTW, just in case if you guys dont know, Samsung's official protector does have self healing function as well. i tried writing with my S Pen on it, it shows some writing marks on the screen protector and then, i kept the phone in pocket for a while. the marks did go away soon later.

Anyway to set only showing camera pics only in camera access to gallery?

Very annoying!
*
try create a file with extension .nomedia in whatsapp pictures folder.
here's an old guide, which has been passed down by generations.

Something to read about this wonderful and powerful phone:

just because it's faster by split seconds, it doesn't mean it's better.

not to defend Samsung but this is my opinion.

Just wondering the hot Samsung screen protector selling at RM39, is it the tempered glass type screen protector?
*
it's self healing film type, and has 2 pieces inside it. considering the price, it's a hot selling product.

why 1.5 and not fast charge? no gooding? damn i left it charge for two days lololo

Because I charge during sleep, and my usage normally lasts a day with 50% left.
Most of the accessories in box are still virgin. icon_idea.gif

Got one guy doing for 3years, his battery still going strong rclxm9.gif rclxms.gif

My Z Ultra has been charging overnight daily for more than 2 years, and I'm still using it now to reply posts on forums. laugh.gif

The catalyst for short battery span is repeatedly charging from 0-100%.

wao... ok then understand liao... but if use fast charge adapter will harm?
*
I personally don't recommend fast charging as heat is the main factor for shortening battery span. However, it's good for emergencies though.
