QUOTE(eternity4av @ Aug 21 2016, 08:31 AM) chill bro, no one owe you anything, you can always figure your own way out the price tag. There's a lot people already states that it sells for rm39 for 2. if they intended to rip you off, you don't need to have price tag to prove it anyway, as they've acknowledge it anyway. mind your words if you're asking for a favor. please. Well said. If want to request for something, ask nicely. |

QUOTE(nyamukpg @ Aug 21 2016, 09:52 AM) For those that have installed a plastic SP (like the Samsung one), do try to change the SPen tip to the white/grey one. My Silver Titanium set comes with the white tip on the SPen out of the box. I wonder if it is the soft type you mentioned. Only can compare it when I'm back later. Here's a photo of it. This white one is a harder plastic meant to mate with the soft SP. The pre installed black one is meant for hard surfaces like the unprotected screen. Found this tip online, tried it and it really does make a difference. http://www.androidbeat.com/2016/08/best-sa...-7-tips-tricks/ "Samsung has included two different S Pen tips with the Note 7. They are both meant for different purposes and not a replacement piece that many people might be led to believe. The softer S Pen tip is to be used when you don’t have any screen protector installed on your Galaxy Note 7, while the harder tip is meant to be used when a screen protector installed on the display." QUOTE(thugs @ Aug 21 2016, 01:07 PM) So, seems like Clearcoat/mobile outfitters are still having the best screen protectors at this time? Since most have uplifting issue on other SP especially when it comes with casing? I installed ClearCoat (Clear, Non-Matte version) onto my S7 edge previously. Hated the extremely rubbery feel and grainy look (noticeable when the display is being used). The Samsung official SP I installed to my Note 7, however, has a much less rubbery feel (in fact, it feels smooth when your finger glides on it), and has a much less grainy look compared to ClearCoat. QUOTE(thugs @ Aug 21 2016, 01:20 PM) Ah... it still depends on individual preference. At RM160 price, I hope it is going to be one of the best. But most having problem with sp uplifting issue when it comes to casing, what SP is recommended? X-One is very very pricey - around RM80-90, and you only get 1 piece of SP in the package. Personally, i am waiting for X-one but again, uplifting is an issue. Anyone has any comment on X-one? As for ClearCoat, no doubt they have the amazing lifetime warranty and free service. But bear in mind that their installation is not always perfect. I had to re-install ClearCoat three times on my S7 edge as the first two times resulted in bubbles under the screen. Not very cost effective when you have to waste time / petrol / parking fee to go there to get it replaced every time. QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Aug 21 2016, 01:22 PM) Actually I only seen complain from here, but now more user mention no such issue, if yours few days ok means shall be safe. My Note 7 is so far so good. But the SPen quality, especially on the spring mechanism seems not as solid as on my previous Note 5's SPen. Sort of like Samsung cut costs by using cheaper materials to build it this time around. The complain I receive at XDA is due to root, that is user issue not the phone itself. However, the phone itself is superb. I'm holding back on the Software Update now since my Note 7 is already smooth enough for my usage. |

QUOTE(skinny @ Aug 22 2016, 02:56 PM) What I'm trying to say is this cheap SP is not a good choice. My previous phone with RM15 SP also won't leave nail mark on the phone SP. Even if you buy the ClearCoat at RM 160, and X-One at RM80-90, you will have the same issues. It's not a matter of whether the SP is cheap or not. It is the material used. If you don't want marks, wait until companies like Spigen release a full PET type SP for Note 7. |

Good to know that you guys who charge your phone for 6-8 hours overnight are doing fine even after many years.
For me, I prefer to just charge for 2-3 hours max daily. Peace of mind for me. |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Aug 22 2016, 08:17 PM) I personally don't recommend fast charging as heat is the main factor for shortening battery span. However, it's good for emergencies though. Anyone who used overnight fast charging on the same phone for few years can confirm that battery life span affected? |

QUOTE(bansai @ Aug 22 2016, 08:34 PM) Oh my God... this is bad. So when you got it, it was fine for the first few days with no issues? Did you encounter any freeze or crash on the first few days? If like this, then perhaps all Note 7 units are not safe from the hang / crash / bootloop issue. |

QUOTE(jerryhean @ Aug 23 2016, 06:50 PM) That's really cheap. I thought it would be like SGD200+ or so.QUOTE(xisan @ Aug 24 2016, 11:26 AM) The backpack itself is 3100mAh, while the phone's battery is 3500mAh. I know it will lose some when charging and even worse with wireless charging, but from 15% to only 65%? It's like only 50% for additional power to the phone. Imagine using the phone while charging it, uh that heavyness! I would say, using powerbank is much better option than this! For RM419, not worth it at all. Thanks for this review. Looks like the backpack is not that much value for money. Only reason I think it would be useful is if I were to go to water theme parks from morning to evening and using the phone non-stop all the time. QUOTE(crayzee @ Aug 24 2016, 11:32 AM) I feel that my S7E is more fluid than note 7. My S7E already 3months still fine but the note7 out of the box already can feel the jerkiness when pulling down the menu and doing other things. Is it too many things running like the S-pen software, etc? I feel that my Note 7 is similar in speed to my S7 edge Injustice Edition, both similarly smooth. Sometimes you have to check for running apps in the background. Samsung is notorious for this. Only the note7 fingerprint is way faster than S7e. On the note7 is almost instant unlock.
