The purpose of affordable housing is meant to help people to buy house for own stay not to make profit. So whats the big deal?

PPR is RM35k to RM43k, most of the Rumawip project is RM300k. Cant compare between one another la. Im still considering whether to go for Suria Pantai or KKK, but I am more keen to choose KKK as it is a freehold project developed by UEM Sunrise. The only freehold Rumawip project.
*
ya, PPR and rumawip got big different...im not sure now still same onot, but last time those house bought around 30-40k their geran will have "low cost" this word on it, it will make future selling of that property much difficult

Pay 1500 per month, got record in ccris, 35 years commitment, 10 years moratorium

or pay 200-300 per month, no record in ccris, no lifetime commitment..

Which one better ?

Not to mention if government plans to rent it out at a lower cost, it'll attract different kinds of people. Somehow it would make KK like those affordable low cost flats. This is indeed a bad news for those existing buyer sweat.gif

Pay RM1500 for a house, signed SPA in 2018, house completion in 2022, the balance moratorium is 6 years. After 2028, it is your call to sell the house or keep it. You saved on RPGT as well for not selling the house within 5 years, which one is better?

lmao, i am starting to wonder are you an owner of sefina or somewhere nearby, you sound absolutely butthurt to be honest laugh.gif

coming back to your question, i rather to be in ccris, for having good track record, bank nowadays rather to loan to good paymaster rather than a "white paper" ccris individual laugh.gif

For me, I will buy Rumawip as my first property as only those who dont own any property in KL are allowed to apply for Rumawip unit. RM300k for a freehold unit in KL / Mont Kiara developed by UEM Sunrise, I think it cant go wrong. I would purchase other properties thereafter. After 10 years from the date of the S & P, with the location and freehold status of the unit and taking inflation into account, I can sell it off for at least RM400k or more I believe and use that money to get other better property. Thats my plan.

Obviously indramerlin has failed to apply for one or he is affected by one of the Rumawip projects. So he is trying to discourage people from applying for one or making people feel like they are stupid to go for Rumawip. I just noticed that, based on all his comments on this thread, he was not even giving a neutral or genuine opinion.

Actually, no one really how Rumawip will be in the future.. Well, sorry if I'm saying anything bad... Btw, 300K in KL, nothing can go wrong.. Btw, you all must remember, it is for own stay, not investment..

officially, rumawip is for lower income, work in KL, and never own other property. officially, it cannot be rented out or re-sold for a certain time.

officially.

but this is maresia.

they give the private developer carte blanche how to sell the unit.

end up..... all the "officially" end up into dustbin.
