Just FYI, for those who have faced battery life shortage when using a MSPD with more than 512mb, this problem is fixed by firmware R4EA031.

I'm searching high and low for a Black Silicon Casing for this phone, has anyone here bought before? If yes, mind to tell me where to find them?

I found white silicon casing but I don't think it suits my black eiten, hehe.

For my previous crystal casing, it'll suddenly crack by itself and finally broke into 2 pieces. And I found scracthes around the side Walkman logo because of it. Damn sad...

Yes its from SE. You can check about firmware versions at the first page of this thread. Really lots of good info there.

As for screen protector, Martinfields is pretty good, i can see mostly others are quite ok also. I havent being checking stuff prices lately but you can try asking other thread members.

I did read somewhere that R4EA031 had problems with MegaBASS, but I tried it and its working fine. So far so good, din face any problems yet.

to suiteng, I think if you flash to the latest firmware, should be able to show chinese characters, my phone is showing chinese characters now, but I cant be sure about that. Hopefully there is someone who knows.

can you guys tell me what software you guys using to convert movie into the phone? i got use one software but forget what name already but when i use it to convert, it only can handle 20-30 seconds of movie into the phone while the movie is about 4 minutes. so how to do it? thanks.

@suiteng , in order for your phone to support chinese characters, u have to flash it with the correct MAIN and FS. At first mine doesn't support chinese, but after i flashed with MAIN_CHINA and FS_APAC, it does (Not that i need it though )

Added on March 6, 2007, 11:32 amNot necessarily true bro, it depends on the phone's firmware region. If your phone's firmware region is Europe, no matter how many times u update thru SEUS or FOTA, it still won't have chinese character support installed

quite satisfy wit it..

R4EA031 ... I charged my phone and now its 3rd day still left 29%! I used it to take pictures about 15 pictures, talked for mroe than 30 minutes, SMS lots ... really really durable battery life!

yea, i also had bad experience with crystal casing with my previous phone, it gave the hp more scratches

now still using crystal casing, will switch to silicon casing when i get the chance to go out and buy

thats why i didnt used crystal case.. its will make more damage to the phone
