Let's say you are training crossing(wingers) for senior team. Would you buy defender trainees to be placed on wing backs so they would improve wingers(smaller effect) too? Is it a waste of money since i'm not training defending? I will be having 4 wingers to rotate in 2 matches too.

QUOTE(nshady @ Jul 13 2009, 12:46 PM) I will be getting 4 wingers(at least passable) to play and train in wings. Should i buy another 4 trainees with passable defending to train in wing backs? Make sure your wingers are young, 17 to 19 years old max. Another 4 trainees with passable defending, well maybe, depending on money that you have as well. But also passable defending and what level of winger are you looking at. They will be a bit difficult to find.I am training playmaking, so I also have similar issue, since winger trains 50% playmaking. At first I use the winger spot to train additional playmakers, but at higher level having winger attack is crucial, so I no longer do that. So as time goes by my winger improve their playmaking but not fast enough to make profit in the training. So in your case, you can just get normal young winger and use the wingback spot for 50% training, but that means your wing defence will be weaken. Or just use them to improve your current defender some winger with no intention to sell them in the near future. after 2 months ... kinda bored ... i guess it's just the phase where you train up the fellas and wait for money to come ... anything fun to do at this time?
i read somewhere that normally, ppl improve their team by buying players 2 levels higher compared to the current one ... is that right? |

QUOTE(spursfan @ Jul 13 2009, 03:51 PM) i read somewhere that normally, ppl improve their team by buying players 2 levels higher compared to the current one ... is that right? Thats a rough guide that many people use. Buying one level above normally waste money as the impact are normally negligible. Buying too high above will make your team not balance, eg too strong defence but with too weak attack. And also 1 player that much better than the other eg 1 outstanding defender playing alongside passable defender.Added on July 13, 2009, 7:15 pm QUOTE(spursfan @ Jul 13 2009, 03:51 PM) after 2 months ... kinda bored ... i guess it's just the phase where you train up the fellas and wait for money to come ... anything fun to do at this time? 1. Collect flags, ie play friendly with teams at country you never before. 2. Try get friendly with HT-Sarah. 2. Try outsmart your opponent with your current skill.
