noobie giving newbie some advice ... lol

first off, read the hattrick wiki

as for training, usually 10% stamina (should be enuff for trainees gua) 90% keeper/defending/playmaking/winger/scoring ... you can train only one at a time, get a passable coach on the skill that you want to train ...

buy 17 yo passable youngsters and start training them ...
*
1)So the training type applies for whole team(cannot individual). Do you think it is ok to stay with 10 % stamina and 90 % general training?

2)I want to get a good coach but it's too expensive. More than 2 million for a passable coach.

3)Lastly, I have a player who has the highest rate in defending in my team, but he is good in playmaking, scoring and others too. I dont know if i should make him a defender or striker/midfielder...

Start with 10% stamina and 90% something else, primary skills, either keeper, or winger best choice for new teams. I'll elaborate a bit later.

my id: 9594406

If i start with 10% stamina and 90 % goalkeeping. It means my whole team will be training 90 % goalkeeping too?

One training is allowed only in a week...means the whole team will be training goalkeeping for the whole week.. Hmm...I'd stay with general 90 % better?

I just bought a poor leadership passable coach.

His max passing skill is weak and currently weak, so he can't learn passing anymore. But he may be able to learn other skills.

Ask other team member, maybe can just start. How many teams do you guys have?

General training will not generate you much, if any money.

1 goalkeeper who played in league game and another one who played in friendly will get trained. The others get very minimal training (not worth to count as well).

But that's how it is in hattrick, you only able to trained few players, you can't trained the full team. (except for set peices, but that is not suitable for new team). So focus on training 1 skill, sell the players, buy new trainee and with the extra money buy better players in other department that you are not training, eg forward.

So go find two goalkeeper trainee, search around take a bit of time for the best deal.

Looks like you have won your first game, great!

Oh do finish the manager's licence to get more money, all the answers are in wiki. smile.gif

Ah?? still hardly understand how the training works..but all i know to get the effect the players need to play in a game. If i train goalkeeping, only those who play as a goalkeeper take the effect/improvement? what about my defenders/strikers...? will they improve in goalkeeping too? from manual, training effect is shown only on thursday/friday...means after match? so 1 week 1 match , 1 training right? if 1 week 2 match 2 trainings.

Finding a trainee is the same as buying from transfer market ?

Owh...then if i set to goalkeeping 90 %..my others players just play and improve nothing from training? lol.

Maybe I'll set week 1 goalkeeping , week 2 set piece , week 3 playmaking like that ?

So every training requires A MATCH to take improvement into effect. And the position of the player will determine which stat a player will improve(goalkeeper will improve goalkeeping if it's trained and defender will improve defending if i train defending)

What should i start with?

Looks like training the senior team doesn't help much am i right? If i train my youth team, which training type is best chosen? Playmaking + Scoring? So I can easily sell them in transfer market ?

Vergan and spursfan, How do you train your senior and youth team? Thanks.

Alright. But if you focus on goalkeeping, which means only your goalkeeper would fully benefit it. Other senior players improvement will be left out for the whole season until you train something else?

When you mentioned about profiting from selling your goalkeepers. Are they old or young players?

You train goalkeepers and then playmaking, you can get good defenders from Darkmage. But the player will only be good in one training type(defending) but poor passes & winger. So it's impossible to get one defender who is good in defending and other criteria.

I tried adding orders but it didnt work out...have no idea..

I just found out a player can receive only 90 minutes training during a week. I thought of a strategy to train Winger. Player A and B will play 90 minutes of winger on wednesday to receive full winger training for the week. Player C and D will play 90 minutes of winger on sunday to receive full winger training for the week. On the following Wednesday, Player A and B will start again and then C and D.

Example:1)If A and B play 90 minutes for match WED and SUN: 2 Person Receives 90 Minutes of full winger training.

2)A and B play 90 minutes on WED, C and D play 90 minutes on SUN: 4 Person Receives 90 minutes of full winger training.

Conclusion, A & B play as Wingers on Wednesday, Other positions on Sunday. C & D play other positions on Wednesday and Wingers on Sunday.

They will receive 90 minutes full winger training and 90 minutes of small/very small effect training but 90 minutes of full winger training will override the smaller/very small training.

Will this work and benefit me?

Waiting for vergas to reply on my previous post.

Btw, I just had my first youth league match. When i click on players, I can see some with 2 stars forward, some 3 1/2 defenders.(what does it determine?) and bla bla. I thought i will be able to see training effect after match for youth, but i don't think i can find it.

Lastly, is stamina training maximum 90 minutes too?

Hmm ok thanks...I tembak tembak saja...agak agak...but at least i know senior's 1 week training starts from friday to friday. I will rotate players to receive better trainings.

Added on July 10, 2009, 3:46 pmI had a youth match yesterday but i only got to "reveal" 3 of my youth players's goalkeeping and playmaking today(i trained playmaking and goalkeeping). But the 3 players i revealed are goalkeeper(revealed playmaking), defender(revealed goalkeeping) and winger(revealed playmaking) whom played the last match. Is that a training result?

Not really, you need both ways to make good money.
1. Youth academy trainees.
2. Senior team trainees.

Both you need to train and sell.

Trainees in senior team are youngsters?

I still cant find senior team training report sad.gif
