Hellow guys, a newbie here. 0 idea on pc parts but of course those basic basic ones I know.

Specifications:
Processor: Intel Pentium G4400
Motherboard: ASRock H110M-DGS/D3
VGA: Zotac GTX 1060 Mini
RAM: Avexir Core DDR3 4GB Red/Blue/White
SSD: PNY SSD 120GB [500 R/W]
PSU: ATX 500Watt PSU
Chasis: Tecware F3 Red

Just wanna ask, I hope this is the right place.
Will the specs above run well for gaming ? I'm gonna get myself a budget gaming desktop soon.
The processor is kinda old though, wonder it will complement well with the VGA or not .

Pandera999 replied saying "that gtx seems like will bottleneck the processor" what do you mean by bottleneck ? It will slowdown the computer ?

Bottleneck means the Component limiting the FPS that you should get (mainly CPU or GPU). If you play say FPS like COD, their mostly stressing the GPU rather than CPU. Most strategy game type use both CPU and GPU, say like Total War, so when their fleets battle, you can see the animation is not fluid enough if the CPU cannot process the battle calculation fast enough.

Thank you very much for the replies. Seriously very much appreciate it.
My budget is around RM 2K, I quoted this build from one of the shop nearby my place.
Initially the VGA was ZOTAC GTX 750 Ti 2GB DDR5 (Single Fan) but then I thought of just upgrading the VGA itself to GTX1060 with its existing specs.

Is it possible to get a GTX1060 desktop with RM 2K budget ?

Depends on the games you play, but most of the latest titles are pretty CPU demanding, I suggest to get i3 (min) to reduce the bottleneck as much as possible.

No point squeezing every component in a tight 2k budget when you cannot even fully utilize its potential right?

how much u bought it? if compare with vx239h or se2417hg?

I buy at JB RM630. compare with vx239h, R241Y have thinner bezel. Compare with se2417hg, IPS win over TN.
But this is my opinion. when i review display unit, i prefer IPS over TN.

Based on your available budget, if you were to get the cheapest 1440p monitor (even though it is better to get 27" for 1440p), it would cost you around 1.5k, left 3.5k for the rig.

Intel Core i7 6700 - RM 1289
Gigabyte B150M-D3H (D4) - RM 379
Kingston 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Value RAM - RM 161
Palit GTX1060 6GB GDDR5 Dual - RM 1128
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 209
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 188
Tecware Alpha - RM 199
Dell U2515H - RM 1479

Total: RM 5032 (ETech price inclusive of GST)

SSD is not included yet, downgrade to i5 so you can include it and upgrade to a better PSU.

ok if I exclude the monitor from price

use 4 - 4.5k for the PC

the 1440p can add later

so how means can upgrade to a 1070 and SSD?

Acer already have 4K IPS 60Hz but that model is not available in Malaysia, only the expensive Asus PG27AQ is available locally, 4.2k.
