Preordered. Reviews have been awesome. Can't complain there's no games available. Too many games are coming out. |

Putting it here before I post it in the Garage Sales in case anyone's interested.
I'm selling my 4-slot spacing EVGA Pro HB SLI Bridge. ![]() ![]() It's too long for the spacing I wanted in my rig. Bear in mind EVGA uses terms of "slots" and "spacing" differently than what Nvidia uses. I have to go back to my Nvidia HB SLI Bridge because that is the right spacing for me, and I have to figure out how to fit it in with the waterblocks in. |

Nvidia-themed crib almost done. Was a bit high last night from all the spray adhesive used.

QUOTE(richard912 @ Aug 23 2016, 12:10 PM) Where did you buy those acoustic panels and how much? Mst of those I have come across are eggcrate style eBay. They're USD25 for a pack of 12 of 12 inch by 12 inch wedges. Lazada also got but they're shaped like small pyramids, almost like nipples. I don't wanna be surrounded by nipples. QUOTE(Someonesim @ Aug 23 2016, 12:12 PM) I love that last pic with SLI bridge framed. Subtle enough that only #PCMasterRace will understand/appreciate Yup. That SLI bridge only a PC Master Race will understand. Those who don't, won't. Or those who do understand and jelly, cynically ask why I'm not framing Ribbon SLI bridges. Douchebag trolls. Ribbon SLI bridges nice to look at ah? I like the front part only. ![]() Waiting KabyLake |

QUOTE(kmarc @ Aug 23 2016, 12:52 PM) Nice frame. I once had the same idea, bought 20 old processors with the idea of framing them up together with other components. Never did managed to complete the project. IKEA frame. Cut holes for the SLI fingers in the back cardboard, stick those two bridges in.How did you frame the bridge? Photo frame shop? |

Sneak peek of things to come. Hoping to remove all traces of red and changing it to green.

QUOTE(adilz @ Aug 26 2016, 08:31 PM) Two options: Get the correct EVGA length bridge or dremel the terminal section to fit the arrow section of Nvidia's bridge. EKWB allowed me to buy two bare terminal section of the Titan X Pascal waterblock so that I can explore both options. Have not decided yet. |

QUOTE(Lurker @ Aug 26 2016, 08:34 PM) No green motherboard made with overclocking in mind has an NVME M2 port. Most of the colored motherboards are almost always aesthetically focused, not performance focused. Or maybe I'm not fond of how the other X99 options look like. The red RAM slots disappear beneath the thick Dominator Platinum RAM heatsinks, only red still there are the red streak near the "Extreme" decal, red SATA slots, and red Asus ROG pulsating logo. The PSU shroud will be in green, covering the PSU. Still evaluating options. Was thinking of stickers to cover them so that I can remove them if I want/need to. Open to other options. QUOTE(Maxieos @ Aug 27 2016, 08:42 PM) why now all graphic card doesn't have 2 DVI port ? all are display and hdmi port ? Because we're all moving forward, not staying stagnant? An HDMI to DVI converter is cheap and easy to get anyway. Does the box include dvi or hdmi conveter to DVI ? I remembered HDMI to DVI converters during my GTX690 days, where needs beyond a standard 1440p at 60Hz refresh rates aren't required. HDMI has surpassed it, with better support for higher refresh rate, better resolution and color space as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface Time to keep up with the times. Your choice of connection is 17 years old. If you had a kid that long, you'd already got a whiny teenager already by now. |

Then your questions is more appropriately posted in the Monitor thread, rather than this thread.
Get an HDMI-to-DVI cable. http://www.lazada.com.my/catalog/?q=hdmi+dvi+cable IF you need longer cables then buy the female-end of the cable with a male-end to extend the length. Sri Komputer in LYP has tons of these, mostly collecting dust because nobody else uses these anymore. This post has been edited by stringfellow: Aug 28 2016, 09:46 PM |

Backside panel 80% done. Some touch-ups and matte-lacquer coating to seal the airbrushed painting.

Nvidia's time machine.
Fond memories with a couple of those GPUs. And GPUs, or "AGPs" what they were called then, that came before GPUs are called GPUs. The Matroxes, 3Dfxes, and the Voodoos. |

Picking up my back panel for my gaming rig tomorrow. This is hand-painted, airbrushed, not a sticker. I'm simply lost for words. Thank you, Taymen Airbrushing!

All credit to Taymen Airbrushing. He can do a simple ASUS ROG eye logo in a day, right up to this level of complexity. I wasn't expecting it so soon either, because he's swamped with many commissions.
