Just reloaded RM 5 from Lazada top up service and RM 2 went into DA while RM 3 went into MA. Now what's the difference and how to shift from MA to DA? First time encountering this, previously all reloads went into DA only.

DA is the cheaper option for PPU phone calls (cheaper rates) i.e if you currently do not have any call plans, it will deduct from DA first, which is deducted based on a cheaper call rate.

The bigger amt. you top up, the larger portion goes to DA.

Want to use up MA first, just purchase some plans/Season Pass, it will deduct from MA first, then from DA.

Took me awhile to figure out how to use the data from the purchased season pass 😅😅

I tested calling using minutes from the SP, with both calls within 30 seconds.

But when i checked the app, it had deducted 2 mins from my allowance.

Is this the case? I was told the charging block is 30 secs...

I use XOX mainly for phone calls, so is it cheaper to go for the SP minutes or PAYU?

I see. No call plan, looks like MA is a good way for XOX to earn more money.

Hi,the 30 sec/block(RM0.06 - RM0.12 sen) is for call usage that deduct credit/airtime when you have used up minutes in season pass.

As for the minutes in season pass usage is 60 sec/block at only RM0.09(RM30 for 333 min)

Well, I don't recall seeing this in the past even though I have reloaded RM 10 few times previously.

It was there at the very beginning. Refer to the chart above posted by Xinaixin.

Why not just buy a Season Pass with mixed Data + minutes. The price is always the cheapest call rate.. As far as season pass minutes are concerned, it will deduct directly from your season pass minutes, no need to worry about DA or MA anymore.

Yes, DA MA have been here for some time but my MA has been 0 since I ported into XOX more than 4 years ago. Anyway, just small amount so not a big deal but just curious only.

i have a prepaid SIM expiring this 29 Dec; how best can i extend its expiry?

is it topup RM50 only gets another month extension?

RM 50 for another 50 days, then right before it expires next round, purchase 1 year for RM 25.
