anyone know what is "paid lounge" and "the bar"?

Located across Aerotel Kuala Lumpur is the Bar; measuring over 60 square metres in size with the capacity of over 40 seats, it is the only watering hole in gateway@klia2.Cosy and inviting, with high stools and cocktail tables as well as lounge seating, come in for a refreshing pint before take-off or join us as we catch the latest sporting event live on the big-screen TV!

anyone has been try departing from or transiting through KLIA's Main or Satellite Terminals access to Aerotel?

I am wondering about 'Paid Lounge', too.

I thought across Aerotel is PPL@Gateway?
And the Bar is in front of Wellness Spa in International Departure Hall?

did they move? Sorry, been a while since i visited airport.

During peak periods, they will never know who came in when, so nobody is going to give chase you.....I have stayed at the KLIA PPL for 5 hrs, no problem....

It's in the late hours when the crowd is thin, that they may know how long you have stayed....the one time in Changi T1 ppl when I needed to transit overnight for a early morning departure, I told them, and they asked for 2 cards to swipe.....

No free access to rooms, you get free beer, and that's it.....

The bar is a food/drink outlet in klia2 in front of wellness spa.....entry to ws entitle you to some food from a set menu at the bar ....not very nice in my experience....

There is another "bar" in front of ppl aerotel, both sharing a common bartender area....

Not sure which one refers....

Rhb supps also can enter....

Not true, PBB VS supp card allows entry to PPL. May be others as well.

Paid Lounge is PPL @ Gate L

The Bar is @ LV3 before enter gate P & Q

Both RHB VI(8x) & WMC(5x)? The principle's 8x & 5x PPL accesses shared with supp?

Wellness spa no longer provide free food from "The Bar" already.


Fyi, Ambank no longer can use supp cards to bring guests in, only card holder.

It appears so, based on comments from other forumers....don't have supps.....and in any case, with the recently change in guidelines, it's not very useful anymore...

The bar food is lousy anyway....and ws food is very limited....

Not sure what you are saying....supp cardholders can enter.....what he is trying to say is, use "extra" ambank cards to bring in guests....of course the cardholder must be present....

I think I know what you are trying to say.....

All cardholders, whether principal or supp, can use their cards to enter.....

In the past, a card holder (whether principal or supp) may have more than 1 card, and can use say, 2 separate cards to enter, one for self, the other for a companion.....

Although the new guidelines appears to prohibit this practice, some people could still do that, a couple of months after the guidelines came out....

Yup, but PBB main+supp card only entitle 3x entry COMBINED!
AMB 5x entry for EACH card holder (need to spend RM500 though, for non-priority customer)

Yup, heard of that but not stated in T&C as per AMB/PBB.
After recent changes, it is no longer useful.

Applied supp card for my parents.
They can happily enter lounges when go travel WITHOUT me.

The Bar already has pre-defined menu for complimentary food, you will need to choose from the short list.
These days they don't allow you to bring in the food to WS, so you have to eat it there but you can go back to WS for drinks and to chill.

Not sure about VI and WMC, but RHB Premier VI allows 10x free entry for Principle and 10x free entry for Supplementary card holder.

For PBB, i am sure that principle and supplementary shares the same amount of free entry allowed (2x free entry for PBB VS for Main and Supplementary card)

In short, PPL still accept different bank card if you wanna bring in a companion with you? Any forumer can verify this?

the RHB Premier Principle and Supp card share the 10x quota. not each has 10x entry.
