For KLIA2 domestic departures to KK, looking at those TNCs of the cards that I have, only following bank card entitle:

Maybank MU VI - only gateway Level 2M allow domestic departures for complimentary access. TGM need to have international departure boarding pass. Come back from KK allow domestic pass.

RHB Premier VI - only gateway Level 2M allow domestic departures for complimentary access. TGM need to have international departure boarding pass. KK also only allow international departure. BTW, what is "Paid Lounge" and "The Bar" in KLIA2 as stated in the TNC?

PBB VS - so far the best card that can cover domestic departure for gateway Level 2M, aerotel, TGM and KK's domestic.

Ambank Signature WMC - rubbish card for domestic departure. non covered.

SCB World Miles - rubbish card for domestic departure. non covered.

Aeon Big - the 2nd best card that can cover domestic departure for gateway Level 2M, TGM and KK's domestic.

any wrong info above and/or any better card that you can recommend for my trip to KK during late March?

subsequently have upcoming flights to Singapore, Penang, China Guilin and come back from China Nanning.

Not clear if you are quoting from experience, or assumption from guidelines.,.

Maybank cards have not placed any restrictions on type of travel, so I presume the old arrangement still stands, eligible for entry to gateway, aerotel, and tgm on domestic travels....

Rhb cards, the new guidelines indicates international departure except for gateway, which is silent....so anyone travelling domestic, give it a try and tell us ...

Ambank cards revised guidelines last year was very clear.... purely an international travel card now.....

The KLIA ppl is well known to be like fish market....and finding a place to sit is a problem at peak periods, the early morning, and the mid evening....

The wellness spa can also be full, due to its small area.....

Gateway can also sometimes be full again due to the small space..... aerotel always empty as it's big, and not many cards have added it in the list.....and the only msian lounge with any "premium" feel....

Agree, no indication from Maybank, it should be usable for all lounges listed in the website (including domestic departure).
RHB, quite useless for now, going to cancel one of it (WMC & VS, still good for Msia lounge when flying overseas).
Will keep Maybank solely for overseas use.

Keeping Maybank as all round card, only 5 times....

Ambank as international card, still one the widest range of lounges.... unlimited....

Rhb undecided what to do....maybe as back up card to bring guest into msian lounges when on international travels....if allow gateway for domestic, at least some use....

Ambank - unlimited only valid for Preferred customer.
5x entry for VI / WMC + RM500 spend.
I will rather opt for SC with Loungekey.
Nevertheless, I still keep my Ambank as they are the only card allowing supp card to enter (5x entry for each supp card).

That's the old list....and still does not include aerotel....

For the record, I have entered both aerotel and tgm with Maybank cards on domestic travels ....

I think it's best to try out with different cards, and see if the lounge will accept....I found out aerotel accepts Maybank cards by accident....just walk in and ask....

Because of the location, not the condition.

Which then begs the question, the "international" in the rhb list refers to the location of the lounges, or the type of travel/boarding pass?

1. The other day I used PBB VS to try to access Aerotel but they told me its not in the list. This was like few months back. Have they added Aerotel?

2. Aeon Big can enter Aerotel too right?

3. Do Aerotel allow entry using credit card that is not under a person's name?

Yup. The receptionist told me only valid for 3 hours.
I replied I have another card for additional 3 hours.
So I asked whether can straight away swipe both cards for 6 hours?
He said have to come back after 3 hours...

I doubt that they will come and check biggrin.gif I personally tried to stay at lounge and used their shower facilities for 4 hours ++, though the complimentary visit stated is only 3 hours rclxs0.gif whistling.gif sweat.gif

Well, if it is not packed, I guess they won't bother.
I have not stayed more than 1 hour before so cannot say much as well, I cannot bear sitting in that boring environment for hours. tongue.gif

Complimentary visits are only for 3-hour and for food and beverage. If the bar is not chargeable, then yes, else it is not complimentary. Room is definitely no, it is chargeable.

KLIA only has PPL and Flight Club. I still prefer PPL.
KLIA2, I used to go to Wellness Spa before Aerotel is opened as it is closest to international departures. These days, I will go to Aerotel before departing and Green Market after I touch down.
