PSA: For Standard Chartered card holders, you need to have international boarding pass in order to access the landside lounges in KLIA2. Just verified today staff told me that it is a new directive from the bank themselves.

this is only applicable for world miles card.

Infinite does not- domestic is acceptable.

for the SC WMC, can we only enter the lounge with international boarding pass? or if we are flying locally we wont be eligible? many thanks in advance

Recently there has been some changes on Ambank credit card policy whereby cardholders no longer enjoy unlimited access to PPL..

any fellow card members here that has unlimited access to PPL or other Airport lounges through credit card that they are using?

I saw RHB premier visa infinite has unlimited access to lounges but unfortunately, need to spend 100k in one calender year where as visa infinite is limited to first 1k customers only per month..

Read first post. For me, I have both SCB WorldMiles and Citibank PremierMiles which give unlimited access for local PPLs.

SCB world miles no longer give access unless having international boarding pass.

wah, they changed the terms similar to ambank credit card also..

i'm looking at rhb world card currently , which stated first 1000 customers every month & it has unlimited access for domestic or international.. will try to dig in for more research and info later, including citibank..

Hmm. I didn't go into that details but yeah thanks for pointing out. It doesn't matter to me anyway as I hardly travel domestic.

Guys please take note on new policy change on ambank credit card.

No longer can use your multiple cards to get access for family member & friends. Must card holder name only.

Please get someone to update this on first page.

We have been discussing this topic on and off for the past few months...
Lounge access benefit is intended for card holder only, but due to some loophole, a lot of us misuse it.
Hence, bank has tighten the inspection and not allowing same person using multiple cards (from same bank) to access lounge at the same time.
I believe most of the lounge still allow multiple cards (from DIFFERENT banks) to bring in family and friends.

Not similar at all....Ambank had removed all land side lounges from their list....so you cannot use irrespective of whether you are flying international or domestic....

Only useful when you fly on MAS, seldom flying MAS nowadays (not from KL, no advantage)

Well the requirements for this card is quite low and no annual fee. The two vouchers more than make up the SST. No harm keeping one.

We were discussed about this card quite some time, I guess two years ago in cimb thread.

I have used for two times with 4 vouchers, 2 voucher each year and I was currently just cancelled it due to SST.

Why cancel though? If you use miles to redeem golden lounge entry it's the equivalent of paying few hundred ringgit
