1. UOB PRVI Miles Card - 12x in Msia (1x per month) - Require min spending of RM500 for past 3 months
Anyone can confirm this?

Thanks

UOB PRVI Miles Card NO LONGER can access PPL, this feature removed long ago already. Basically this UOB PRVI Miles Card is an useless card.

It seems that there are 2 PPL at klia2, beside aerotel and opposite aerotel. I have only tried the one beside aerotel. Anyone tried the one opposite aerotel before? It seems to have nap and shower.

I use Standard Chartered WorldMiles.

May I ask if local domestic flight (departing klia2) can use the lounge?
Also if arriving klia2, can I use the lounge before heading to kl city?
I'm also using sc worldmiles.

Many thanks in advance and have a nice day!

The Aerotel lounge is at landside. So to answer your question, yes when you depart and arrive can use.

I always go to ppl for comfort, flight club for food. But recently the standard of flight club dropped, so I just go to ppl.

I'm just curious on the nap / shower of the other lounge at landside. The food for the ppl beside aerotel is quite okay.

The original gateway ppl has shower facility, and is also a transit hotel, but you need to pay extra for the rest rooms, and is expensive and not worth it....

The new Aerotel ppl has more space and better food, but no showers....

So choose based on what you need....

Went at different time, so can't really compare them, but I think gate40 is slightly better. Been to gate40 5-6 times but only once for gate1. Gate40 usually nearer to the connecting flight.

A boarding pass has always been required....just that the ppl group had been lax to maximize business....they will also accept a printed booking eticket if you haven't check in yet...

Whether international or otherwise depends on the policy of the respective banks....

It's a good thing to have strict enforcement, as rampant abuse will result in curtailment of privileges, to the detriment of genuine travellers.... example ambank's withdrawal of access to landside lounges....

there were once i tried The Green Market upon returning from trip. I accidentally dropped my ticket stub on the flight. But luckily i have the PDF of the etickets I have and showed them thru phone. The official just scanned the code on the PDF and proceed without issue.

Rest room. Normally for transit you need not more than 12 hours or less. For that amount of time, it no more expensive than Tune Hotel. So it can be a viable option.

It's significantly more expensive than Tune hotel. A single room for 3 hrs is rm235, a double is rm358....you can get a 12hr double for rm250 with Agoda sometimes, which is about the same as a 24hrs tune hotel room....

My conclusion is, better off with tune hotel....if just a few hrs during daytime, tune has their day stay rooms for much cheaper...

Alternatively, use the container....

I believe this is fair move.. I’ve one time entering PPL and saw an uncle come in n when the PPL staff asked for boarding pass, he said he hasn’t check in, n when PPL staff asked him which flight he is taking, he said he didn’t even buy ticket yet.. n ended up PPL staff still let him go in..
