quick question from newbie in lounge facilities here, if I get access into the lounge via credit card privilege within specified time frame , I can use all the facilities including dining without extra charge right? What kind of food can I expect there, specifically I am referring to Plaza Premium Lounge in Penang International Airport.

Thanks.

They were supposed to set up their own lounge, but there is no space in the domestic area of klia for any lounge....design flaw....same for the KLIA2 domestic airside....for some reason, the designers decided to ignore domestic business travelers...

Yes U will have access to all facilities unless specified, like massage or certain liquor. U will have access to all food selection.

In Penang Airport, both domestic and international, u will have access to 1 noodle bar, 1 salad bar, 1 fridge for soft drinks, juice, milk, coffee-on-demand, simple buffet and an Ala-Carte menu, where breakfast time has lesser choice, after 11am will be normal meal, with choices up to 8~10 types of hot food.

No minimum amount. I recently swiped it on Starbucks because Indonesia is not a CC friendly country. bangwall.gif

Darn, I had STC WM for the 7 years, and I don't know there's a rebate for KLIA2 limousine, end up forcing myself flying to KLIA to use citibank premilemiles.
Any priority lane for STC card holders at the Limo que?

Am not sure which part of Indonesia you referring to, but Jakarta is definitely CC friendly. Min purchase to use CC is either Rp 0 or Rp100k (RM30). A meal in a shopping center is easily Rp100k. Then, at Starbucks, pay your food and drinks separately.

There's no priority lane, queue like normal. Actually you can choose to take cab or ERL.

I was at Yogyakarta and Surabaya.. It wasn't easy and even Starbucks in Yogyakarta allows CC only if spend minimum Rp50k.

In December, the attendee inform there's no more priority que and I called in to Citibank to lodge a complaint.

In January, need to allow 5 person of the normal que to go first before they serve Citibank. Didn't complaint as the limo's frequency is fast. They have hidden the Citibank priority que signage though.

If the attendee reject you, please complaint to Citibank call center, I guess they will do something if they receive numerous complaint.

I prefer metered taxi from airport as they are much more well maintained compare to voucher taxis. Definitely no go for "premium" taxis

I'm using CC to top up Starbucks card, thus, not sure of the min expenses. Use it on anything except for atvthe duty free. Their chocolates easily 15% more expensive than KLIA

Plus free Limo rides. Anyway, based on recent replies in Citibank, it seems not difficult to waive AF.
I'm keeping mine until it refuses to waive mine. laugh.gif
