PPL can masuk meh?

Last time I was there... the que was ridiculous....

Lucky there was a seperate (MUCH shorter like 1 person) que for those with airline lounge access (some airline uses PPL *ahemANAahem*).

Ofcourse when I bypass and use that que... got ppl evil eye me... as well as got 1 gentlemen try to follow behind me... and was promptly told to get back in the long que... was visibly upset that fella tongue.gif

I also can masuk leh smile.gif Maybe I’m also lucky cause usually not long queue during my time of travel.

And if you’re flying ahemANAahem and want to avoid the crowd in PPL you can always go ahemSKLahem?

yea was wondering which terminal will i arrive at, just now did web check in and found that i will be arriving at terminal 4. rclxms.gif

hope blossom lounge is good. rclxms.gif

You won’t be able to enter Blossom as an arriving passenger, as departure and arrival are separated in T4. Neither can you go to airside of T1, 2 nor 3.

A bit out of topic but what does OD offer when you fly domestic J? Do they just give RMxx vouchers?

They were supposed to set up their own lounge, but there is no space in the domestic area of klia for any lounge....design flaw....same for the KLIA2 domestic airside....for some reason, the designers decided to ignore domestic business travelers...

Many thanks for your explanation! Mental note to self not to fly domestic ex-KUL on OD J if possible...

kind of strange and skeptical because no surcharge or penalty when he change his tickets after check in, and when at the end (300 days), when he cancelled his ticket, he got full refund. Quite impossible to happen.

Typically in the higher fare classes (e.g. F/J/Y), you can change your flight as long as you have yet to board the plane, and you can even cancel your ticket and get full refund (but this usually comes with a small administrative surcharge). So its totally possible to happen. If the article is true, the guy is really damn smart that he knows how to take advantage of the loopholes of these full flex ticket.

rarely people will do things like this. Believe you are the odd one

Anyway, most will prefer not to use their airport lounge if it is very far apart. Same as in other country, example Singapore, if lounge and boarding gate is at different terminal, many would prefer not to use the lounge, unless they have many hours to burn.
*
Guess I'm also qualified to be the odd one then. Based in SIN, so SIN is my most frequent airport, and I typically arrive at the airport 1.5hours to 2hours before departure (so not exactly hours). If I'm flying MH or oneworld carrier, the short walk to T1 for QF lounge is really worth it, especially when you're flying economy. The BA lounge next door is not as great as QF but still better than what MH offers in T2. So I (and many others I know) do go to another terminal for lounge hopping when flying out of SIN. Trust me, there are many many other odd things aviation enthusiasts do, and lounge hopping is really normal.

Thanks for the info!
Seldom fly from Sg recently, more on transit.

However, I do fly Airasia from Changi last week.
As we know, AA is now in Terminal 4.
Thinking of going TGM (in T2) for dinner before flying, I tried to go in directly from T2 (without luggage) but I wasn't allow entry.
End up I had to take transit shuttle to T4, went through immigration, took internal shuttle to T2, overall cost me almost an hour!
FYI, you only allowed to leave T4 (internally, to other terminals) if you have at least 2 hours buffer!
To and fro (T4-T2-T4 internally), easily 40-50min, includes waiting!
All ground staffs will give you same warning, and they are right, luckily I have just enough time.
Please take note if you plan to do so...

It appears they have relaxed the internal transfers between t4 and t1-3.... previously, you are only allowed if your are connecting flights....

Wow that’s good news indeed! My understanding is the same as limeuu where you’ll need a T1,2,3 boarding pass before they’ll allow airside transfer. Does that mean next time I can go QF lounge when I’m flying CX? biggrin.gif (provided at least 2 hours of course)
