There anything wrong with it? This is because when i restart the pc... Performance 3D Core Speed goes from 451 to 400.

And you'll notice that the Apply Settings at Startup isn't checked.

have your try uncheck "Use Alternate Start Up Daemon"?

Not just yet. Will try what you suggested.

yeah, well mine too, checked but grayed (says can't be unchecked)...regarding your problem, the GPU/Memory clock will revert back to stock everytime you reboot? why don't you use nVIDIA's hidden feature (nVIDIA's CoolBit, instead using RivaTuner)...

The gigabyte 7900gs is clocked higher than the stock speed of geforce 7900gs.

if I were to run SLI, do I have to get an identically clocked 7900gs?

or do I need to clock down my gigabyte 7900gs to match the second card?

wanna ask my 7300GT if i sli it with the same 1 worth it? or i just sell both of my card then get a single with better 1?

i think u better get single card... the best is wait for 8600 series to launch..

it will SLI-enabled, and it'll follow the lower clocked card, anyway, you can always overclock the card (both card)

yes, either you can SLI it (1.85 better gameplay if SLI), or sell your 7300GT and get better higher card...7900GS is a good deal i must say...

which brand of 7900GS is good without oc.. price?

as for me, Galaxy, XFX, Palit, LeadTek, Colourful... , just notice "without OC", thought, godd with OC , anyway...all listed above is good in OC and without OC...personally, i like Galaxy and XFX, can get Zalman Fan or Zalman-type fan...

well, as for my case (using an overclocked 128MB gDDR3 7300GT), most of my games using medium setting with 4x AA (Anti-Aliasing), 16x AF (Anisotropic Filter), High Image Quality, at 1024x768 resolution

Galaxy, XFX better....comes with Zalman Fan....

stupid question:

Do I need to plug in the 6 pin power connector if I am running a single card only?

NO SLI, just ONE card.

If the card got the 6 pin socket, it is advisable to plug in the power connector no matter you going to sli or not

It needs that extra voltage to ensure enough juice for ur gc.
