I think there is something to relate with your CPU as your display card and RAM is preety enough and good for your system. What vincent said are correct, they are the natural behaviour of the products.

To aero99..

1. make sure ur whole system tempreture is cool enuf.... proc below 65-70'C, GC below 70'C, mobo(northbridge) below 50'c, HDD below 45'c..... that is all the max temperature that u shudnt exceed........clear off dust from ur casing.... its good to do it once in a month or 2

2. uninstall old driver(GC) properly... use some driver cleaner... i use detonator RIP... and install latest driver, either from nvidia or ur gc manufacture website.

3. make sure ur computer is free from virus... they are worst enemy of computer.do full scanning. if u dont have antivirus, u can go trendmicro website and use "housecall"... free scanning antivirus on web(using java or flash).

4. make sure ur computer background is not loaded with plenty unused program...such as stupid autoupdate for realplayer, apple and etc. They might take unnecessary memory out of ur com. disable from each software

5. make sure each of ur drive for HDD have quite some unused space, 15-20% empty space is preferred.

haha thats all i can think of.... hope it might help u..

aero99, AFAIK there is no difference in requirement Fear XP and Fear.

I suspect overheat (most probably since u say it become slower and slower) OR some background program especially antivirus autoupdate.

read the keyword "on" smile.gif, tongue.gif, anyway... IMO 7300GS can run smoothly on Vista, but do keep in mind, (IIANM la), when running on Vista, the card will continuous running on 3D clock instead of 2D clock on desktop and 3D clock on gaming or any 3D application icon_idea.gif
