lol.
no sign.

actually i'm using Vista all the way.

its just when you reboot after windows update, it will go back to the onboard.

and the onboard bios dont really have a spesific command that says " DISABLE ON BOARD VIDEO".

waiting for intel to follow up with this.

Here is the bigger size of the card. Not my card though, but its 100% the same AGP card. You guys can see there is the 6pin connector on top left of the card. Maybe this card is a Sonic card, that's why they added this extra power connector. laugh.gif

The problem now is, not enough female molex connector.. cry.gif I scared the card cant survive longer if there is short of power.. unsure.gif

hmm ur score is abit low but im not sure wat is the 7300GT score should be la... no offence ya...

did u restart ur computer.. close all uneccesary aplication... and benchmark??... it will help with ur score
if u wan even a better score.. u can benchmark it on new partition(as i was told to do tat, but im LAZY!)

hmmm stil wonder u about ur GC power.. hope u can get a better performance after u plug those both power.... else it will be sad wasting money........

palit ah... haih... duno wor... tats why i dont like... even it is cheap... but.. when comes to trouble. then work slow....

Added on August 18, 2007, 3:23 pmGuys ..Pls HELP!!!..

i've a problem since i bought this samsung 19" 931BW(widescreen) monitor.... and im using xfx 7800GS EE..... using xfx 162.18 driver.... samsung digital and analogue driver from cd is installed...

im having problem with monitor resolution when i use DVI(digital) connector.... the monitor able to support or its native resolution is 1440x900... when i set it to 1440x900... the screen is wider than the monitor.... (means like when u use internet explorer and u can scroll left and right, happen same to me in desktop)... no mather how i set it.. it is stil wider than usual.... DVI connector wont let me adjust screen size, monitor autoconfig... but i guess this is fixed.... and the image of 1440x900 not only wider but blurer....

everythg went perfectly with VGA/D-Sub(analogue) connector... the 1440x900 res fit in nicely.... but ofcoz DVI is better than VGA so i prefer to use DVI but i cant......

so any1 experience this and know how to fix this?

Your 3DMark03 Is too low and yours is factory OC`ed version. Even Galaxy's 128 MB 7300 GT could reach 9k++ marks in stock speed. There must be something wrong.

Hmm... after turning off AA and AF in nVidia CP, here is the score.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I wonder why it is so low compared to 128MB 7300GT as mentioned by nshady. hmm.gif

There are no running apps while running the benchmark test. I even had the both power connector connected to the PSU.

I think it is working. When only using one power connector, the score is 4424 and when both power connector connected, the score is 4441 with AA and AF turned on.

Or, maybe the results vary even though the settings are the same? hmm.gif

Yours is PCIE right? I remember my 7300GT scored around 11k last time on 3D Mark03. Maybe its your PC spec?

i think his 7300GT is AGP platform...
I do believe that is might due to his spec, thats y the score so low, but the difference gap is quite big... hmm.gif

4424 vs 4441 = no diff... since 3dmark score might vary abit everytime... i guess ur 2nd power plug in has no effect on it...

urm.. me thinks that the default settings is with AA and AF are off. Before I did the benchmarking, I did mess with the 3D settings in nVidia CP. I chose for more quality 3D among the 3 choices available. The example of the nVidia logo is really smooth when I chose that settings.

Now, Ive reverted it to default settings and that nVidia logo not so smooth with jagged pixels.. hahaha.. laugh.gif

But still, I wonder why the score is so low.

Where is Mooneyes when I need him! cry.gif What's ur score la bro? We have the same card are we?

No , It's not AGP/PCI-E problem , I know people who got 10k+ and 9k+ for 3dmarks03 and they are using AGP slot too...Non Oc'ed...their processor somehow is p4 2.x ghz speed too tongue.gif

It might be due to different PC specs. Maybe you and Mooneyes can list down the spec so people could check it out here.
