Hi folks! tongue.gif

Guess what, after long of waiting and waiting, I finally have had my hands laid on Palit 7300GT Sonic 256MB DDDR3 AGP card!!

yehaaa! wave.gif

Just got it last night. My dad bought it from LYP for RM320 and brought it back to here muahahahaha.. tongue.gif Waaay cheaper than the ones priced here. Hahahaha..

Now, I got a question, after Ive molested the card last night, I saw there is a black cable which is something that should be connected from the card to the power cable. Do I need to plug that as well when installing the card? And here is the next question, I got SiS VGA driver running on my PC, should I un-install it before installing this 7300GT driver?. And my last question, So, I wanted to molest around with the AA and AF while gaming, does the driver also included this software where I can mess around on how many AA/AF I want to use?

That's all.. Thanks guys! biggrin.gif

Hmm..but why older cards like the Five Series....which consume more power (In watt) than the 7 series doesnt need external power ?

So low eh.. sweat.gif Is the score any good?
Later go Saberkas buy that splitter.. haha laugh.gif

Btw, still no response from Palit customer support.. shakehead.gif

Your 3DMark03 Is too low and yours is factory OC`ed version. Even Galaxy's 128 MB 7300 GT could reach 9k++ marks in stock speed. There must be something wrong.

No , It's not AGP/PCI-E problem , I know people who got 10k+ and 9k+ for 3dmarks03 and they are using AGP slot too...Non Oc'ed...their processor somehow is p4 2.x ghz speed too tongue.gif

changing to a newer socket lowers the marks ? rclxub.gif

But i believe , having 20 k of 3d marks 03 doesnt mean you get double the performance of cards which get 10 k 3d marks 03 rite ?

Off your AA & AF , i believe you will get 9 - 10 k marks.....

you're using IDE HDD , so it proves HDD doesnt affect 3d marks already smile.gif

Nowadays playing games need at least 512MB to support,if you have more the better is. Then only consider to get better GC for gaming, else got no "ohm.." one.

lol, are u sure ? shakehead.gif
