I just joined the 7600GT club. Temporary member only though....

Anybody using 7600GT? What's your max OC on the GPU core and rams?

Want to get a general idea on the overclockability of these cards....

IIRC, my 7600GT able to go up to 700/1660 something...

What did you use for stability testing?

So far, my mem can go up to 1600Mhz with no artifacts on ATItool.

Testing the core at 690mhz now......

just like what u said, scan for artifacts to test the stability.

Anyway, my 7600GT max oc is 700/1600mhz from stock 560/1400mhz! This card not bad at all!!

My 2nd hand MSI NX6600 just can't play anything!!! Going to sell it off in garage sale later. This 7600GT will also be sold once I get the 8800 series!

ofcoz 7600GT is not bad.. its a successor of 7series which is the best performance/price card.... nice card yet budget.....

dx10 is toooooo much..... dam nice graphic compared to dx9 in crysis... darn.........

Still lose out to the 7800GS EE. Remember that the 7600GT is only 128-bit. I've benchmark this card on 3Dmarks06 and it still looses to 7800GS EE at stock..... ok sleep time.....

hehe but yet the performance diff between 7600 vs 7800 compared to price diff...... 7600gt stil wins... ..... 7800gs only win 7600gt by abit....

Morning.... But for now 7900GS will win price/performance. Be able to oc @ 600/1600 and 256bit summore no 7600GT nor 7800GS EE be able to stand with it.

thats the end of the 6600 glory which use 2 b king of midrange card in 2004 also i guess 7600 will 4low the 6600 footstep soon

i'm also got xpertvision 6600, but i think it useless now

quite right but... i guess not much ppl having this 7900 AGP8x card i think... the system cant really utilize the full performance of AGP8x ... bottleneck will occur..... i mean in s478 rig(tats wat im using now.. sad)....

maybe its time to get a new rig.. but for 8series card...... its better to wait more dx10 game arrived and the 8800 price reduce..... ... no point getting 8800 now as limited dx10 games is in the market... a waste of money.... ... and vista now is not yet mature enuf for gaming yet... stil a child....

For AGP system i wonder why high end 7 series very limited. The 6800XT AGP still available on shelf.

nVidia want to push ppl upgrading their system to PCI-E

weird thing..i dl forceware driver 94.24 from nvidia's own website n yet my windows says its not whql certified...why is this happening..i'm pretty much sure i've dl the whql version

Sometimes maybe it has some bug in showing driver information, but as long as there is no flaws u no need to worry.

it will cost higher if produce AGP GC than the PCIE GC, that's why in AGP platform, there dun have much choices for the high-end series...
