Just curious, which Aztech model did you guys select at portforward.com? Was it the DSL6053U or DSL605EW?

Yeah, I have the same model. Funny thing is, the DSL605E doesn't seem to have its own set of instructions on portforward.com. The only ones which come close are the two I stated above.

Visit any portforward thread somewhere in LYN forum. I've seen it before.

For guidance..

Finally got it to work. Was being a complete idiot. I forgot I wasn't running the default Windows firewall. Once I had added the appropriate exception, uTorrent ran fine. doh.gif

Nope. Which is why I forgot I had that separate firewall running.

Maxis wired free upgrades - from 256 to 512 & 1.0 to 2.0.

got the memo which hinted immediate and automatic effectiveness of the upgrade from Maxis yesterday. my speed has not been upgraded yet though. called Tech support and as usual they don't know anything about it ....

can anyone who has actually recieved the upgrade confirm/share the necessary procedure to activate the upgrade if there is any such procedure at all?

... p/s feel free to brag about your newly upgraded & uncapped download speed if you have rclxm9.gif

I actually got the printed memo in my mail yesterday from Maxis. Though I don't see anything about any upgrades or new packages on the website. The memo also mentions that existing maxis wired customers can get maxis wireless for RM58 a month vs the regular RM108 with waived activation fee. Of course... I wouldn't pay RM25 a month for maxis wireless...really bad experience there.

bro, i just bought Belkin Wireless ADSL modem router F5D7634. can use with maxis wired. during installation got option of our ISP, just use either Jaring or Streamyx Home, then insert your username and password gotten from your old maxis modem.

BELKIN MODEM ROCKS!
